The Natal Treasurw would be born inside their Mental Space before the treasure absorbs the Mental Space creating a Glorious Ranked Explorer in the process, and their Ascension to the higher ranks depended on conquering new Natal Treasures and binding them to their mental Space.

Or maybe a mix of both, Inala has to die. He will either turn into a treasure or transcend (though the chances of this are low). The only change will be that he will be reborn more quickly. I hope that the treasure is somewhat like the MTOC, fused with a Quip clansman's baby. That baby would become the RZ, and then something like MTOP which TORQ is using to be in both places. This way, if an RZ transcends, the next one will be able to connect to the Transcdedent one through it, It will be like Inala is there both a Mortal and a Transcendent.
Since the pre-Transcendent stage, Ren had future sight. In the Transcendent stage, Ren is able to share his current knowledge with his past self. The upgrade that his past self is experiencing is increasing the authority of the current Transcendent Ren. Does that mean authority is not limited by time, either in the past or the future? Anyone who works on growing the tree will help the Transcendent Ren grow his authority.
