you can just search the hinduism branches. it doesn't matter what the west believes. jainism, buddhism and charvak were the 3 popular unorthodox branches of hinduism. charvak is like the latest materialistic atheist belief, it's not a religion according to western thinking, but this was also a popular philosophical branch given respect in hinduism. buddhism on other hand is more similar to popular belief of what hinduism is than charvak. there were more than 600+ such "religions" at one point competing with each other, buddhism one among them. do we also not call them hinduism bcz west doesn't know about it? not to mention hinduism is not a religion to begin with. all the paths/ branches were considered religion, not hinduism.

I plan to drop many more side stories(SS) chapters, So even the people who know nothing about Hindu mythology can enjoy the story to the fullest. Btw, these side stories are also very important for build-up. You will realize later. As for why I posted only SS chapter this week, I've explained it in author's note.

yes, but still doesn't change my point. grammar and vocabulary is evolved throughout the different veda. which indicates they were written over hundreds of years. atharva veda's sanskrut is similar/closer to classical sanskrut unlike rigveda. as for ved vyas, i get that he is compiler, but that doesn't mean only 1 veda was there. as i said before, veda were written by multiple rishi. so he/they (could have been multiple ved vyas) who made it better, put shloka in proper order, or maybe even changed some shlokas according to time. we just lack too much information, either lost or was not kept track of.
But out of luck or fate, he survived and entered this cave. Here he found a collection of ancient books called Vedas which enlightened him about the the lost knowledge, about the Gods.
