I know Gerard isn't the best company, but against someone who is immune to ranged magic, he might be their best option right now, putting aside Edward, who is already in his own fight.
My image of Serah was someone who uses overwhelming power to crush her opponents and nullify their attacks, but here, on top of that power, she's showing remakable martial prowess, battle sense and reflexes. Was she always that good at Martial Arts, or are her senses and reflexes improved by Transcendence, similar to how the Martial Blade God could even see the past and future just by virtue of how powerful he was?
Hands danced around in a blur, and she even supplemented her defences by raising one or two of her legs to stop attacks that she could not ignore or evade.

I'm surprised she can even predict his next move. Legris is someone who rivals Jared in terms of trickery and battle strategy, but her it seems like he's just blindly charging at Serah. Is she just so quick and powerful that none of the 30 Legrises have any chance to play any tricks, or does he have trouble coordinating so many of himself? It doesn't look like the Legrises think independently, so it might actually be a single consciousness controlling all the bodies across several fights, which would be quite impressive, but would also explain the crude tactics.
More Legrises swarmed around her, launching dark arms towards her, but at this point, she was able to dodge their assaults with ease, even predicting where the next one would arrive from.

That doesn't explain how she seemingly has an infinite supply of energy be it Mana or Aether
Serah is too OP.
She should at least be able to survive on her own even if she can't harm Legris, and she can force him on the defensive with spells. Just drawing the attention of a few of him is already helpful.
