I have to say I really enjoy this story. I'm usually not a fan of overpowered stories, but the author does an amazing job of making everything feel balanced and the story flows exceptionally well.
this story takes inspiration from an incomplete novel (already mentioned in comments) and made it entirely it's own. it's worth getting into. my only issue is with the time duration. parts of the story make it seem years pass then a couple chapters later it says only a month passed.
just go to the police, or record him saying that again. say something like " sorry, I dropped my phone, who is this?" and record it. bam
