Back at it once again.
It might just be because Lu Fengxian is a protagonist, and he’s ignorant about boundaries, but it does seem a bit off that he keeps ‘accidentally’ discovering these tidbits about miaomao even though he said he would be mindful of his apostle’s secrets. The twists was unexpected and enjoyable, since it opens up new avenues for the future, but just like Wei Yuan commented about miaomao getting bullied by seniority someone needs to lookout that Lu Fengxian doesn’t overstep any boundaries ‘for the greater good’.
I mean, how was he supposed to know that?
Lu Fengxian facepalmed and groaned, wondering if he had picked the right apostle. Miaomiao seemed to be talented and smart, but he lacked wits.

I liked this story from the very first chapter, but the character development and the romance made it even better. Looking back I still couldn’t have expected where the story went, but I truly enjoyed it.
