Update: I'm currently in chapter 49 and the story is good so far. My review about how the MC is psychopaths still stand, but she turn out to be much more complex than that. Also, if you like an MC who craft, like a blacksmith and such, you will like this story.
I can imagine that the MC become this OP recruitable NPC in the future after the game is released. If it turn out to be something akin to Rimworld or Oxygen Not Included but VRMMO, Narcissus' is literally that one God Pawn that every player will try to target for recruitment
2.1 of them survived the ordeal, ahahaha Narcissus and Verina interaction was quite wholesome, since I see it as their way to cope with the maddening daily occurrence of this world. I also wonder what kind of fate that Lupina will get in the future. On the extra note, I also starting to think that the Yuri tag is there solely because of the potential selfcest, lol.
This is amazing to read, holy shi The Wild Hunt's stray shifting in denomination from Lone Rider, to Lone Hunter, to a conceptual 'monster' throughout the whole narration. Also, Elisi and Yaria might aswell be the this story version of the river god Cephissus and the nymph Liriope, Narcissus' parents in the Greek Mythology. Unless Narcy is right and that Daffodil and her are a different person entirely. But then, why show this vision? Also, rip cat boy, he is genuinely kind-hearted despite being a sussy imposter.

This is a story of a psychopath that got cursed to have ADHD about people's faces including his own face, got stumbled by an eldritch horror and then reincarnated in the body of a person with a face so perfect, he ended up falling in love with his own reflection. It's just that this body with the perfect face is not that of a man, but a hot smokin lady. And he rolled the worst isekai lottery ever: Becoming an NPC in a VRMMO world where cosmic horror beyond comprehendsion is a daily occurrence. Also, he doesn't care that he doesn't have a schløng now, dude barely have any feeling of empathy nor worried of the insignificant stuff, he is a realistically depicted psychopath. He, or at this point, she, is a cold, calculative, manipulative psychopath through and through. She simulate others' feeling and pain but she doesn't empathize it. However, she isn't outright evil nor even crazy. In fact, she is calm and collected but still interested in things like normal humans do. It's just that she lacks a proper emotional faculty and is more tunnel-visioned than normal. She can get worry, happy, or depressed, but all of those emotion is merely a fleeting moment. If a situation needs her to use 200% of her brain, she will use it without hesitation. It kinda makes the genderbender less cringy, making it very doable as if you're following the story because of the character itself, not whether because they are a man or woman. I say that try all of the available chapters first, because I think that this is genuinely a good story that is straight-to-the-point and isn't littered with useless four-paragraph about mundane things that aren't involved to the plot or character development. I give this story 9/10 because of the main character alone, and this isn't even mentioning the world building and the unique system.
