As always, I'm not American, so I'm not familiar with how American schools work. In Chapter 1 of Young Sheldon, only three teachers were introduced, so I don't know what other subjects high school students take in America. Therefore, I'll ignore and ask you to overlook the lack of other subjects. In this chapter, there was a mention of a Spanish class, but it was just a nod, and it won't be mentioned again (unless the plot requires it).

Math (algebra or pre algebra)then algebra 2 pre calculus and calculus, US history then world history in Texas we start with Texas history, science (biology) then (chemistry) year after then physics, Spanish 1 and 2, then 3 and 4 are optional, PE or athletics which is just your sport as a class, one off period for upperclassmen then a course in what your interested in, med term, shop class (woodworking and other stuff), etc. in my school we also had a morning advisory for those struggling in class

The Vast Skyline
