After rereading this chapter, I think that had Katherine actually killed herself, she would have gotten Riley kicked out. The cameras would have shown Riley and Katherine coming into the room, Riley exiting then they would discover her body. I may be wrong but yeah just my little headcanon.
Usually authors have one single book they focus on and even if there was a second book it doesn’t have the same amount of effort. This defies that pattern and I thank you for that. Instead of a hit and miss, you have come back with a tank and you’re beating my ass so hard I can feel my spine cracking. I thank you for this gift :D
