Fourteen year old Oliver is starting a new school. Like most teenagers, he is just willing to survive high school with friends, good grades, and maybe even a girlfriend. But a tragic past keeps him from achieving this dream over and over again. Willing to help him recover from his intrusive thoughts, Oliver’s mother fights to find him a therapist. But being a single parent has its challenges. Oliver eventually learns to socialise, which helps him to slowly recover and let go of his unfortunate past.
