While I agree with u. It doesn't really matter in this case. This is not an out of context power or Spell. This is literally just a Spell in context that he just hadn't learned yet. The requirements for it for someone like MC r abysmally low. Basically any magic that was in the series and has been seen has such a low threshold to use for an Archmage that they might as well not exist.
Although Harry at this point in time in canon hadn't learned this spell but I could do them because I have seen him do the spell in movies.

I would personally go for Logomancy. While sure it can take a long time to make battle worthy but for an Archmage Essence user, it's the key to kingdom. U can do ANYTHING with just speaking backwards and u don't even need to know much about it to recreate it.
