But not all is what it seems. (P.s. this story is set in Japan and so the name system is slightly different. People refer to others using their surname and a name ending such as 'san', 'kun' and 'Chan'. However, friends refer to each other using the first names and name endings whereas even closer friends remove the name ending altogether)
