The author is normally great from what I can remember of their other books but I really don't know what happened with this one. It's about as cliche a story as you can get without it becoming satire, you have the unexplained big advantage with the eye that can see quests (I understand it will probably be explained later, but it's just dumb to give an ability that is a direct increase in power for no discernable reason) for some reason every girl is attracted to the main character, and the mc just sort of falls into success. There is more dumb stuff that I can't remember at the moment but those are the big gripes I have with the story. It is also just not an intruiging plot in the slightest, the only real hook is the bro-con sister but all that really does is fill the yandere spot of the story.
The characters in general are all just really bland and don't have any interesting qualities as well as being of overused archetypes.
The world the story takes place in is meant to be a cyberpunk sort of world but that's really all it is. The author didn't really add a level of detail that makes me at all curious about how something works or the details of something else. I feel like making a world feel unique is one of the main things that make the cyberpunk genre good and this story just doesn't do that.
I put a 3 for updating stability because of the Invayne's history with dropping novels.
Also sorry about potential weird formatting, it's hard to write on phone on this app.
I believe the name Zeus would actually be Zea for females in Latin but I get that that could be confusing to read and write so probably don't change it. I just thought I'd mention it because it's a bit interesting.
