Such prowess in stealth was nearly unheard of. Veterans, despite their extensive experience, seldom reached mastery in this skill, especially this early in the game. But Alan had, and this was only his first game's second round!

The second soldier barreled into the warehouse just as Alan's shotgun clicked empty. With no rounds left and a lethal assault approaching, he quickly shifted tactics. Drawing his sword with a fluid motion, Alan met the soldier with a fierce and decisive strike. The blade's gleam was momentarily overshadowed by the falling body of the intruder.
