Let's start a cult. I'm giving myself 1 star to kick things off. About the story: This isn't for impatient readers. It's a slower-paced narrative with lots of foreshadowing. Sometimes you have to read between the lines. I tried to make some things obvious, but I can't do that all the time, right? There will be no harem. Maybe some romance. The focus is more on the mystery of Cthulhu and the Old Ones. If you expect to always read from the MC's POV, I have to disappoint you. The story centers on the mysteries, so there will be different POVs, showing how these events affect different characters and their lives. If you want a strong MC right from the start, I'm sorry to disappoint you again. He is weak, with only the "friendly" spider being unique. So, what's good in this novel? If you like Cthulhu, give it a read. The dialogues are decent, and some of the fights are okay. For those who read the complete review, here is your achievement: Time Waster Description: Your affinity for wasting your precious time is so high that you don't realize it. It becomes second nature. Even thinking about it raises your affinity. You just wasted time again.
Minato was not 'alive' prior to this event. It was foreshadowed that he would return in the filler chapters. Suigetsu and Jugo found some documents about Edo Tensei and Minato's kunai
You are right that there was no foreshadowing. I don't know when you started reading, but currently, I am editing/rewriting a chapter daily. I am at chapter 15 now. Also, The Flowing Mirror can't brainwash; the MC is manipulating his opponent to believe it can. I haven't gone through the chapter yet. Sorry for my bad writing if it was not obvious
In V2, there are some additional characters, and some existing characters will have a bit more focus, like Megumi, for example
