Dropped it after the "first story". It felt kind of out of place for me. Not worth the full book purchase, you can stop buying around chapter 511. The story is good until that point. As I dropped it mid way, I can only rate the story 3/5 but with where I stopped, the story is more of a 4/5.
I finished this but forgot I never left a review so here it is, albeit belated. Tl;dr I have a big gripe with the novel but overall it wasn't absolutely terrible. The author clearly wanted to write a novel with an overwhelmingly powerful female lead being together with an equally powerful male lead. Personally, I think the author did not do a good job in striking that balance. The amount of "overpowered" the author gave the female lead has definitely spilled over to ridiculous to the point where I've rolled my eyes countless times whenever the female lead did something amazing. I also didn't get the point of some of her actions. But I digress. The male lead started off being introduced as all powerful but tbh, the author wrote the female lead so overwhelmingly strong that the male lead kind of felt more like her boy toy than someone on par with her (but just my own opinion) Despite this, the story wasn't too boring, despite some things being a bit repetitive, and I was able to complete this novel. Would I recommend it? It depends. If you like reading mindless and nonsensical face slapping scenes, go ahead and pick this up. There's some pretty decent romance scenes but it didn't feel like the main focus. I'd say it's a solid 5/10 situation.
COMPLETED REVIEW The story focuses on the main female lead Ye Leng An who has been reborn into back into her first birth world after encountering an accident with her cultivation in the second world. But she has retained power and some items from that world, and also somehow has retained memories from her first time in the current world (despite having lived God knows how long in that cultivator world) these worlds are never described in detail so most of it are just up to your imagination. With an extremely feisty personality, she is never described as nice and tbh doesn't really act nice either. She's not exactly the most relatable and sometimes, despite understanding what she does, I still find it questionable. However, she is extremely independent. The story doesn't have many descriptive romantic antics happening, and her relationship with male lead for the most part are comprised with just kisses on the cheek (is2g despite their age, they're friggin kids lol) with like, maybe 2 kisses on the lips pre-wedding The male lead is described as someone all mighty, who at the young age of 24(?) already seems to have the world in their hands. The head of his entire family, the head of a powerful organization and someone who's described to be the most powerful The author has never really mentioned how he came to be that way either. Overall the male lead wasn't really well built so he turned out to feel more like an accessory to make the female lead look good, a plot device to make more trouble for the female lead to shine and ultimately, a piece to make the story fall into the romance genre. 99% of the side characters introduced are against the main characters and serve as cannon fodder to make their life more difficult. Most of the side characters only show up for a short time before being defeated and stored away. Only 2 remain and are mentioned as having a somewhat amicable relationship with the female lead and these were introduced more than halfway along the story. Even so, the relationship seems very surface level. The recurring side characters are their family members who serve to annoy them or serve as minor inconveniences at best. It just felt that way throughout the novel 😅 The author seems to really want to drive home the fact that blood ties aren't important (I hope author doesn't have a turbulent life themselves...) it's my main takeaway from this story lol While the whole story felt overly dramatic and seems to fall kind of flat, there wasn't any part of the story that made me want to drop it, put a pause on it, or made it feel like it was draggy and boring. There wasn't any particular character that felt deep enough to form any attachment to, and it even felt like despite the author claiming the leads are in love, it feels like the female lead doesn't love the male lead as much Didn't really feel reciprocated. But I made it all the way through the novel nonetheless. There weren't any major translation kinks either so that's also a plus Overall, I think it deserves a solid 5/10. Worth reading but only if heavily discounted or even free.
Probably a bad translation of 表姑, how you would address your father's younger female cousin
"This was one of the nurses who were in charge of delivering babies back then." The veins on the back of Shen Zhijin's hand popped up. "At the same time, she is also your cousin-aunt."

An is correct, if you pronounce it as "Ess Ess Ess" if you use a, you'd say "a triple S member"
The identity of an SSS member was absolutely confidential. Even the Gu family might not know who it was.

Bro, how can you not understand your own self composed piece 🤔
Her explanation and the mood of her song were actually quite different. However, with such talent and such a piece of music, even if she did not understand it properly, he could not deny that it was the best original work he had seen in all these years.

I'm gonna let this one go (and ofc all the one before, all the lack of cautiousness smh) since it's still early in the story but if she doesn't wisen up in the next couple of hundred chapters, this story will just be "101 Scenarios of the CEO saving a Mary Sue damsel in distress" to me. I'll probably still finish it cos I'm also trash but it ain't gonna be rated past a 2 at this rate
Another PSA may be needed here, but I feel the need to talk about this, as someone in the cyber security field. While yes, being connected on the Internet makes you vulnerable, it's not like being connected on the Internet easily exposes all your secrets and sensitive info. There are people who work tirelessly to ensure that this cannot happen easily in the back scenes. As long as people are cautious with what they click and sign up for, most people will not worry about being compromised this easily. Please do not take fiction novels as irl education materials. Hacking isn't easy to learn or do just because you take a computer science course.
Ahh the sweet innocence of a child 😂
