wasn't it everyone including monsters git 100hp per level up and 10 mana. is his 10hp and 100 mana instead of a buff of 100 management and 100hp?
I leave when I need to so I can regenerate mana, and I run when a Rare monster comes along cause they're too strong for me to fight right now. I spend the next several hours doing this, and I finally hit level 5. Black spear is 5 EXP from leveling up too. My health is at 150, and my mana is at 1500 hundred. I take a seat in the large forest area that has monster bodies scattered all over it in little groups. You can see the specific times I attacked and retreated. This was the best way for me to level up and make progress.

my personal choice atm cause I got a silly functioning old-school version again is Slent Swordsman deck. partly mixed with a little of the noble swords guys. it's silly screws thier spells and has some effects, can use Silent Paladin easily in GX Era and the spells/traps dot mhave much actual requirments meaning author can go silly crazy.
is the new one the gender bent Jade one? your books list is kinda all over and very hard to figure out which is what. you should be able to edit titles and just add a rewriting Tage or such at start or end of titles to make it easier to find new vs original
