Anyways, skimming my type of stories gets you nowhere, as you'll never understand anything. Save yourself the trouble by not reading it any further, as you'll only get more confused. Maybe if you read the story properly, you'll realize that he's doing a test, which he needs to do to get recognized as a Digitizer. Next, his older self is acting exactly how he should.
