Chương 11: The Wedding Day Arrives
The long-awaited day finally came, Adrian's wedding day with Avians was held in a luxurious five-star hotel building. Many television stations from home and abroad covered the billionaire's big wedding.
Right in the ladies' dressing room, Avians was beautifully dressed in a beautiful wedding gown. She looked at herself in the mirror, staring in disbelief that today was her wedding day to a very good man, Adrian.
"This is... Me?" she murmured.
'I never thought this day would come. I'm... Getting married. I never thought that I would finally marry someone and it's Ian. Do I deserve to be the wife of a handsome and kind man like him?' she thought at that moment.
Finished dressing, the servants left the room, leaving the Avians alone to wait until the time came. Soon, Elena entered the room to keep her sister-in-law company.
"Are you nervous?" she asked.
"Elena... Mnn... Actually, yes. I'm quite nervous. What if I make a mistake? I... I don't want to embarrass Ian later..." Avians replied worriedly.
Elena smiled and held Avians' hand. Telling Avians not to worry about it. She would do well.
"Calm yourself down, don't let negative thoughts bother you later. I'm sure you'll be fine."
"Okay, I understand..." replied Avians while holding the flowers in her hand.
Fifteen minutes passed, and finally their wedding ceremony began.
Adrian stood on the stage, waiting for Avians to arrive. He was wearing a white suit, his black hair was neatly combed and his handsome face was the talk of the room.
There were tons of cameras pointed at the entrance of the room, waiting for the bride's entrance. The wedding decorations were as fantasy-themed as the Avians wanted, the guests were impressed with the theme of the wedding that they saw was very beautiful.
Slowly the large doors of the room opened. Avians stood at the door with Elena accompanying her. She was nervous about walking alone, and her family was not allowed to see her, so Elena escorted Avians to her groom.
As they slowly walked into the room, everyone's eyes were on the woman. A woman so beautiful and enchanting, walking while holding flowers in her hands.
'Everyone is looking at me, how is this?' she thought nervously.
When the Avians finally arrived at the front of the stage, Adrian came down the small stairs and welcomed the Avians into his arms.
"Cheer up you two..." Elena whispered as she gave the Avians to Adrian.
Avians, who had been lowering her gaze, slowly looked at Adrian. She was mesmerized by the face of a handsome man who would soon become her husband.
"Ian..."
"Avi..." Adrian smiled and helped his future wife onto the stage. The two stood next to each other with Avians hand wrapped around Adrian's left arm.
The two stood before the wedding priest and listened to his words. Avians' heart was beating very fast because soon she would become Adrian's wife. A man who was very kind and loving to her.
A small smile was drawn on her beautiful face.
"Adrian Foster, do you accept Avians as your wife? If yes, then say your vows,"
"I, Adrian Foster, choose Avians Harrison as my wife. I will always be with her in times of joy, sorrow, sickness and health. Poor or rich and I will always faithfully look after and love Avians until death do us part," Adrian said loudly and firmly.
As the priest accepted Adrian's marriage vows, he turned to Avians and asked her the same question. Nervously, Avians began to say her wedding vows.
"M-my name is... Avians Harrison... I mean.." Because of her nervousness, Avians found it difficult to continue her vows, her speech stuttered.
The guests started whispering about Avians, thinking that Avians was an ordinary girl who couldn't even make a promise like that.
Sarah felt annoyed and embarrassed by this.
But not Adrian, he gently touched Avians' hand that was wrapped around his arm and rubbed it gently.
"Take it easy, you don't have to be afraid..." he whispered.
Sensing that, Avians nodded and repeated her words.
"I, Avians Harrison, have chosen Adrian Foster as my husband. I will always be with him in good times, in bad times, in sickness and in health. Poor or rich and I will always faithfully guard and love Adrian until death do us part," she said smoothly this time.
The two exchanged rings and then the priest announced that they were now husband and wife.
"You may kiss your bride," said the priest.
Adrian nodded and faced Avians. Avians' heart was beating faster because this would be her first kiss. Adrian slowly removed the wedding veil that covered Avians' face. Avians' blue eyes stared at Adrian who was looking at him.
The man's gray eyes seemed to be locked on the beauty of his current wife. He was mesmerized by the woman who had become his wife. Adrian caught both of Avians' shoulders which made the woman flinch. He moved closer to Avians' face and whispered before touching her lips.
"Just relax..." he whispered and kissed Avians' lips.
She could feel Adrian's soft, warm lips touching hers. He kissed those lips deeply before finally pulling away.
The man was somewhat surprised to see Avians' face blush from being kissed by him. That beautiful, flushed face made him pull Avians into a second kiss.
"Ohhh... Mr. Foster is very excited about his beautiful wife," said the priest.
Elena smiled at the two of them. Avians was surprised that Adrian kissed her again, and this time the kiss was deeper than before. She reflexively touched her own lips.
"Sorry... You're too cute, I can't help myself..." Adrian said smiling.
After the vows, they faced the guests who congratulated the two of them.
There were so many guests in the room, some of them approached the bride and groom and congratulated them. Adrian smiled as he said his thanks, as did the Avians. Although she was actually very scared.
Avians had a special fear of being in crowds, she was afraid of what others would think of her, she was very afraid of seeing all those eyes on her. Her hands felt shaky, she tightened her grip on Adrian's arm.
"Avi?" Realizing his wife was not used to such a crowd, Adrian pulled her waist closer to him. Wrapping his arms around Avians waist.
"Ian?" Avians' eyes met Adrian's again.
The man smiled and leaned closer to Avians' ear. "It's okay, I'm here for you. You'll be fine..." he whispered.
Hearing Adrian's whisper coupled with Adrian's strong arms around her waist made Avians feel calmer.
"Thank you, my husband."
