That day Avians was writing something in her favorite book. It was a thick book filled with inspiration to write a story that she had. Actually, she had always loved writing stories, but she never showed it to anyone.
She was worried that they would make fun of her for writing stories that others might find strange. So she closed her hobby tightly.
"The love story of a famous police detective and a serial killer. The detective knew that her husband was the killer, but she always tried to cover up his crimes because she loved him," Avians muttered as she wrote in the book.
"The serial killer also never thought of hurting the detective, his wife. He is very kind and loving to his wife," she continued writing.
The theme of the story that she really likes is romance. She once dreamed of being able to create a romantic story that many people would love but not an impossible love story. But a love story that everyone can feel.
Grooowwwll...
Suddenly her stomach felt hungry, she wanted something to eat while she wrote the story. Avians remembered that there must be food in the kitchen, she just needed to ask Jonnah for it.
Since lunch was still two hours away, Avians went to the kitchen to ask for a cookie or something to snack on.
She closed her book, thinking she would only be gone for a moment and then come back. She went out of the room and as she descended the stairs, there was Jonnah.
"Good Morning Miss Avians, do you need anything?" asked Jonnah when he saw Avians approaching him.
She told Jonnah that she wanted something to snack on before lunch. Jonnah smiled and offered Avians some sweets from the kitchen.
"Then I'd like a chocolate muffin and... Iced tea," said Avians.
"Fine, I'll have a servant bring them to your room, miss. Anything else?"
She shook her head and thanked him, walking back to her room to continue writing while she waited for her sweets to arrive.
When she opened the door, she found her husband sitting in her desk chair reading her notebook of story ideas. Seeing this, Avians panicked and immediately took the book from Adrian's hand.
"I-Ian, don't read my book carelessly," she said while holding back her embarrassment. Her face was already flushed between embarrassment and fear that Adrian would think that she was a weirdo making romantic stories that were too fantasy.
"Sorry, I was just curious because I saw it on your desk. So I read it, I really liked it," Adrian said with a smile
"Really? You think... That's not weird?"
The man shook his head. "Not at all, romantic stories are made to comfort someone who can't feel it. Whatever fantasies you have, it doesn't matter. I once heard of a novel where there was a woman who was favored by a stalker. It can even be said that the content of the story was very dark because it was filled with nonsense but it was liked by many people," she explained.
"How did it end?"
"I don't know because I didn't read it, but I heard that they ended up together. Despite how dangerous that guy was. In the end she melted. She even got a pet name, 'Little Mouse'."
Avians nodded as she heard that. Adrian was quite inspiring, plus with a pet name, sometimes some people like to be called by their pet name.
"I like your story about a man who gave up all his positions and glamorous life to be with the ordinary woman he loved. Living in a village and raising children together," Adrian said.
"You think so? But... Isn't that impossible? There's no way someone would give up his luxurious life of ease to live in a village for a woman."
Adrian smiled at his wife's words and pulled Avians by the hand to sit on his lap.
"Maybe you're right, it sounds impossible to do. It's not always about wealth. But responsibility. A leader has a lot of big responsibilities for their subordinates. He can't just abandon them because of that sense of responsibility," Adrian replied as he slowly lowered his voice.
As Avians looked closer at her husband's face, she could see something different again. Another different side of Adrian. This side looked more empty and lonely, as if Adrian was expressing his own heart.
Seeing this, Avians gently caressed Adrian's cheek, trying to comfort the husband she loved. Gazing warmly into his eyes, as if to say that he would always be by Adrian's side.
'You don't have to feel lonely anymore, Ian. I'm here for you,' she said silently.
As if their hearts were connected, Adrian smiled and kissed his wife's forehead. He also hugged Avians into his warm embrace. Feeling lucky that she was with him.
Adrian took Avians' hand and kissed the back of it. Avians' heart melted as Adrian kissed her hand. A smile could not escape her face. She leaned her head on Adrian's shoulder.
It felt so good to be on his lap right now, pulling her into an embrace that made her feel at peace. She wanted this moment to never end.

Two nights later, Avians were getting ready to go out to dinner with Adrian and Elena. Actually, not only with them, but also with Sarah. It was November 27th, the birthday of Adrian's father, Albert Foster. It was their family custom to eat together when someone had a birthday.
Even though Albert had passed away a long time ago, they still did it at his request to keep the family together.
Since Avians were already a part of them, she would be joining them for dinner.
"Are you ready?" asked Adrian.
"Yes, I'm ready."
Together, they got into the car and drove to the restaurant they had booked in advance because it was very famous and many people scrambled to eat there even though it was very expensive.
For them, being able to eat there was a source of pride that they could show off to others.
After traveling a short distance, they arrived at the restaurant with Elena who had also just arrived.
"Elena," called Avians.
"Oh you guys finally arrived too." Elena hugged Avians and then looked at Adrian. "It's just dinner as usual, no need to worry about anything bad."
"Yes, I hope so."
Adrian was still very upset with his mother's attitude to Avians last month when she invited her to tea but ended up humiliated. Elena assured Adrian it wouldn't happen again. She asked them both to sit down while she waited for Sarah to arrive.
Not long after that, Sarah finally arrived at the restaurant.
"Is everyone here? Very good," she said.
The three of them turned to Sarah who apparently did not come alone but she came with a young woman who was so beautiful.
"Mom... She is..."
