Chương 89: Prologue - Destination, Aster
"In life there are no coincidences." A man once said.
I introduce myself, I am Rudel van- my apologies, my mistake. As I was renamed, I no longer use that middle name.
I am Rudel von Bradford, the third son of a house of country barons. And I am a plain, simple, ordinary person. Anyone can verify that by looking at my dull black hair, my black eyes together with my pupils giving a terrifying look, the false bags under my eyes and my charmingly creepy smile.
My only wish in this new life is to live in peace.
That's right, I said new life since I am a reincarnate.
I died a tragic death and then woke up in this strange and cliché fantasy world.
Right now I was in the galley of my Schwert airship, a 200-meter airship, the hull was gray and the rest red to simulate that it was a fake ship, as it is a futuristic super airship disguised in reality.
The bow had a large horn, resembling a narwhal, being the reason for its name.
My reason for being here was not to get something to eat.
"Listen up, you, useless bunch!"
It was because of these pests in front of me.
"Just because you're here free of charge, doesn't mean you're going to live here doing nothing until we arrive!"
I was yelling at a group of annoying young men.
They were in a horizontal row.
To the right, in the last place was a petite girl wearing plain clothes with shorts.
She was Erselica van Reinfield, a reincarnate. Her hair was orange with three antennas growing like a carrot, her hazel eyes gave her a trait of being an endangered animal. This girl actually told me a horrible truth.
And that is, that this is a disgusting world inspired by a grotesque RPG game.
And I, your dearest and most harmless servant, am a despicable villain in turn.
She tried to kill me a few months ago, but now we've made peace. The reason? It's because this idiot is actually my cute cousin from my previous life whom I loved dearly, and still do, but after knowing what she wanted to do to me it makes me want to hit her really hard.
"It's not like we have a choice either you know? Given our situation we should be here, we don't like the idea of having to be in the same place with you."
The person telling me such idiocy was on the other end, and he was none other than the biggest idiot I've ever met. He had shiny silver hair and intense purple eyes.
His face gave the impression that he was a good and nice kid. Sadly, he is mentally retarded.
This idiot, Liam von Altfode, was not only the prince of the kingdom we came from. He was also, to my misfortune, the protagonist of this grotesque world.
"It is as His Highness says. Count Bradford, we are only obeying orders from Her Majesty the Queen."
Who supported the prince was one of his faithful friends and another main character. A handsome boy, tall, of slim build with good muscles, long greenish hair down to his back and eyes of the same color. Frey van Nightray, was the one who answered me politely, but I could tell from his tone that he disliked the situation.
"Hah, what are you talking about?"
I was asking him annoyed since they didn't realize the situation of why they were here.
"It's not like we want to study abroad either. Actually, we'd rather be back home."
Now the one who was annoying me with his idiocies was an ape-a tall, stocky boy, eyes and hair unruly red like his aptitude at folding his sleeves. He was the last main character, Chlust van Arses.
These three idiots, let's call them the three musket-idiots. They did things they shouldn't have a few months ago and as a consequence, the royal court and their families want to kill them. I don't know if figuratively or literally they want to do it.
But the point is, after ruining it, they lost their positions as heirs to their houses and also got kicked out. That idiot Liam is the worst of all since he is just an ex-prince with no right to anything.
I fear for the future of the kingdom.
"And you think I want to study? I mean, do you think I want to study with you?"
Why was this happening to me?
I remembered my reason why my plans were ruined by these guys.

What is this?
I went into my room to rest after taking care of the guests who came upstairs, and upon entering I found a large cardboard box.
On top of it was a note that said fragile.
I removed the lid expecting to find a nice gift and what I found was....
"H-Hello..."
A person, Erselica was clutching her legs inside the box, her look was the same look you get when you go to meet a friend after painting their bathroom brown.
I immediately closed the lid. A force was coming from inside wanting to remove it so I used my muscle strength while reciting a mantra I learned.
"Uwohh, get out bad spirits! Bad spirits can't enter! Buddha namu amida butsu!"
But the next moment, my strength lost and I fell backwards as she came out screaming. "What's wrong with you!". And I replied in astonishment, "That's my line! What the hell are you doing here?"
At that instant, a red-eyed gray sphere appeared.
"It's about time. I wondered how long Erselica would wait without going to the bathroom."
This thing measuring the same size as a softball was an AI from an ancient civilization I called Ixion.
"Why is she here? Explain yourself Ixion."
With those words, a floating letter appeared out of nowhere and fell into my hands.
This boy said as he read it everything became clear.

"Tell me it's a joke please..."
"I'd like it to be like that for me too..."
Bottom line. The letter was a detailed report from the queen about these four idiots.
Apparently, in just one week they had destroyed the territory they were given. I don't want to know how three teenagers could spoil a place with excellent land to harvest. Besides the fact that they spent all of the one year's allowance they were given to live without problems.
To make it worse, Erselica... since she's a small nuisance I'll call her Lolica. Well, they found assassins sent after her.
Fortunately, they were able to arrest them, but how they found out where they lived and how they got in is unknown, so their situation was unsafe.
The queen had no choice but to hide them outside while they secured the country for these four. So she contacted Ixion to tell me to keep them with me studying abroad.
But this scrap never told me about it, but, being a request from the queen. It is impossible for me to refuse, it would sadden me to see her beautiful face with tears. So, I will swallow my pride and my contempt for these idiots and keep them safe with me.
By the way, His Majesty the King, told me this in another letter.
"Wahahaha, how pathetic you are! From hero you go to babysitter. Well, I appoint you the royal nanny. Take care of those nuisances since no one else wants to. From your magnificent, gallant and handsome king, Le-."

They were two boys; the one on the left was a boy with glasses, attractive, light blue eyes and hair, his hair was covering his ears and eyebrows a bit.
On the other hand, the one next to him was a boy who reluctantly looked in my direction. he was also attractive like these idiots, his eyes and hair that reached his neck was with some spiky locks.
"I understand. It wouldn't be fair to His Highness and the others for us to do nothing, by the way, will you really put him to work?"
"Obviously... What was your name again?"
The bespectacled boy politely introduced himself once again.

But thanks to that very thing, is that Aster was able to defeat the kingdom and all their enemies by calling themselves as 'invincible in attack and defense' being their reason for such an egocentric name."
Makes sense to me.
"Now to the heroine. According to the story, in the past there were seven aristocratic families who ruled. But one day, one of those seven betrayed the main house, which is a matriarchal house, and they became the Six Great Nobles. No one knew who did it since that was one of the mysteries to solve of this game."
It really does seem mysterious and interesting from that perspective.
"Fortunately I remember who did it. The current head of the Rosenberg Household who is also acting chairman of the nation."

"The heroine lives undercover as the daughter of a crumbling baronet's household. One day, Liam ran into her, this and that happened, and he ended up learning her secret."

My head hurts, that's a lot of information to process. More so those cheesy crazy things about the power of love and other cliché stuff.
"I get it all, what's the heroine like?"
Lolica finished munching on a cookie and with her mouth full answered me.
"Umm, in the description they gave her they put that she was a cheerful girl, introverted, super friendly with everyone, but reserved. There were terrific reviews about how she was better than the nasty co-star who only has flowers on her head and captivates everyone with her slutty body."
I nailed the knife to the table I was cutting meat with when I heard something unforgivable.
"Don't you dare ever speak trash of Airi again, I'll kill you if you do!"
"Are you forgetting that your life is in my hands and I can kill you at any time!"
"Sorry, it was a joke, don't take it so personally!"
This bitch forgets that, thanks to her, her life is in danger and only I can save her.
I drank water to relax and empty my desire to slit her throat for badmouthing my girlfriend.

Suddenly the door opened, it was Liam walking in.

After opening it fully, Erselica and I stood in different places to pretend we were cleaning. We weren't doing anything wrong, but this idiot caused a big problem because of a mistake and I don't want to repeat it.
"What do you want?"
I was asking him in a normal way as I was cleaning the table.
He was giving me a dirty look.
"What is Erselica doing here?"
Erselica, who was awkwardly sweeping the floor at the other end of the room. She addressed him by her suspicious tone.
"Liam, we're cleaning up. If you're not finished and want to lounge around, don't bother."
He ran to her and took her hands.
"Erselica, this guy didn't do anything to you! He didn't touch you or suggest anything?"
I directed my gaze full of contempt at him.
Instead, she just looked at him with disinterest.
"Liam, this guy has fiancées."
"So what! This man shamelessly harassed my mother, the queen. So it's obvious he would do it to a beauty like you as well."
She blushed at being called a beauty.
"Don't worry, the harassment of your mother happened because she- I mean! I'm only interested in women with curves like your mother's- I mean! Breasts, I'm only interested in women with big breasts like your mother-."
Every time I opened my mouth I only made the situation worse, so in a quick manner I came out saying that I had stomach pain.

He looked at her worriedly.
"I'm serious, I don't trust that guy at all! I don't care if he wants to touch my mother, but on the other hand if it's you, that does affect me."
Erselica face made a bad expression when she heard that Liam thought something happened or may happen between the two of them.
"Don't talk nonsense. That will never happen, and worry more about your mother, if the worst really happens. You can call him 'daddy' one day."
Liam made a disgusted face at the thought of that.
"I don't care who my mother messes with. Like my father, her privacy is none of my business. The royal family has already had problems like that from illegitimate or usurping children. But in my case it's different."
His hands clasped hers tightly.
"The only woman in my life is and always will be you. I wish no one to be my wife but you."
Instead of blushing, she became annoyed.

Erselica removed her hands and headed for the door.
"As punishment, tonight you will go without affection."
Liam was startled to hear that.

Liam ran out after her, but didn't find her. Who he did find was Ixion who was floating by with some cleaning robots.
Seeing him, Liam called out to him.
"Hey, your master might want to cheat on his fiancées, you should keep an eye on him."
As Ixion ignored him, Liam reached out to touch him. When his fingertips touched Ixion's cold, spherical body.
Ixion turned to look at him. His gaze was stern as his one eye was completely reddened.
The other robots also turned to look at him, and in a cold and somber tone, Ixion shouted at Liam.
"Don't you ever touch me with your filthy hands again, you, miserable life that needs oxygen to subsist!"
"If it weren't for the master, both you and the kingdom would be shattered from the start!"
Ixion glared intently at Liam. At that moment, Rudel came in rubbing his stomach.
"Ixion, I'm hungry."
He immediately turned to look at his master. His intense tone and bright red eye along with the other robots returned to normal.
"Master, it is 45 minutes until lunch time. I ask you to wait a little while."
"Huh, that long? But I'm hungry~."
"... It can't be helped. I'll start serving the dishes. Today's menu is squid dipped in green sauce."
"Oh, that sounds good."
Ixion hovered at Rudel's right shoulder as he seemed to somehow spoil a spoiled child.

Her appearance was that of a beautiful girl with short bob style light blonde hair. Her eyes were a beautiful blue that is compared to the sky and the sea.
She was in her underwear, as she was changing for class.
The academy had problems due to the war, but they have reopened normally.
"Huh, can't it be?"
She was having trouble with her bra.
"It's the third time in a month that I've bought new ones."

The door was opened and Airi desperately tried to cover herself with something. But she inadvertently stepped on the button and fell on the floor.
When the person who knocked on the door entered. She found a strange good morning.
Airi's butt was pointed in her face.
"Is it perhaps some kind of morning exercise?"
The girl, Alicelotte von Bismarck- Alisa, was called by her important people.
Like Airi, she was a character in the game, but her role was that of a nasty envious woman who would not stand the happiness of a commoner with the prince. But that outcome never happened and now, they are the best friends anyone would wish to have, so much so, that they call each other 'sisters' from another mother.
Alisa was a Duke's daughter, the highest cradle of high society after the royal family. Her appearance was that of a beautiful young woman with golden blonde hair. Her hair was originally long, but was tied in a braid behind her ears that went over her head in a bow and a slight ponytail.
Her eyes were fire red, giving her a stern and strong look, but at the same time a soft and pleasant charm like a rabbit. The most remarkable feature, was not that her uniform was no longer white due to the new administration of the academy, let alone that her black pantyhose was now red. Rather, that despite being a teenager, her breasts were larger than any known woman. It bothered her that they were so large since she had to buy custom-made bras. Apparently, Airi was also growing to that size as the difference in their measurements was only three cups.
"Geez~, Alisa you're cruel."
"Sorry, it's just that it's an unexpected sight."
Alisa laughed seeing her friend on the ground. Before going over to help her up, she took a moment to have a strange thought.

She reached out her hand to help pull her to her feet, then handed her light blue blouse with her jacket. On the jacket was embroidered near the heart a crest.
That coat of arms represented that Airi was recognized by the royal court as a knight, despite not having the lineage of one, much less being a man.
After putting on her blouse to cover her breasts, Airi noticed something floating near Alisa. It was a white colored sphere similar to Ixion, but its eye was green in color and its aptitude like its personality was more pleasant than that of its superior.
"Bell-chan, good morning."
The sphere was Bellion, but was called Bell. It floated cheerfully near Alisa's right shoulder.
"Airi, we have mail from Rudel."
Airi almost jumped for joy when she heard that.
A few months ago, they and Rudel were engaged. They had to cheat on him since he was a fearful and cowardly man, but they didn't care about that and loved him just the way he was. In fact, they preferred him that way since if he was a ladies' man. Perhaps he would have been engaged to other girls or many more.
In Alisa's left hand was a freshly printed letter. In this world there was no technology to do so, but Rudel decided to cheat at life by creating items that would benefit him both personally and financially.
"The letter doesn't look normal at all. what was this called, email?"
"That's right. there's no way we can communicate in a way by video calls or voice messages. So this is the most primitive solution possible."
"Umm, I didn't get that at all. But as always, Rudel-san and his mysterious things are amazing!"
"Certainly, the power of a lost item is amazing. But a means by which you can write letters without using your hands, and be able to send them so quickly, it's a great thing to be alive and be able to witness that."
"Hearing you two talk wonders about science is a compliment that makes me blush to the point of wanting to cover my face. Even though I don't have one since I'm not human."
They both began to read the letter with glee as Bell turned her circular body.
"My dear wonderful fiancées whom I love more than money or sleeping all day. how are they doing, are they sleeping well, is Bell not causing them any trouble, does some bastard like me want to get close to them?"
They laughed as he began with comments that reminded them that it was truly her boyfriend writing this.
Bell floated merrily and then, she noticed that the faces of both of them gave a somewhat disturbed expression.
"What's wrong?"
"Well, Rudel is complaining that His Highness and the others are causing them trouble and that he didn't know they were on board. I knew it, but I didn't want to tell him as it would be too much trouble for me to send them away as soon as I saw them."
It was a request from the queen to Alisa not to tell him, she agreed, but she did not like lying to her future husband. More because Erselica, the woman who pretended to be a saint, who almost destroyed together with a traitor her house and above all who humiliated her together with her friend, was in the same place as her betrothed.
Rudel told them that he only saved her out of pity, but both were puzzled since sacrificing their island for someone is not something that pity can achieve. In the end, they both believed him, but they didn't like the idea of the two of them being in the same place.
"The master wouldn't have sent them away if he knew their circumstances. But he certainly would have if he was told he was going to be everyone's babysitter."
They both made a bitter expression as that too was told to them. It was the only way to protect them, there is no safer place than by the side of the Hero of the Realm.
They continued reading the letter with their usual smile.
"Today Liam got on my nerves! The idiot didn't know how to clean a toilet, so I dunked his head in it. I laughed so hard, but that idiot grabbed me and placed a bucket of dirty water on my head. We both proceeded to kick each other's asses until Ixion electrocuted us."
The comments were getting weirder and weirder, Airi told Alisa her opinion on how weird it was.
"I don't think they're complaints, rather, aren't you telling us that you're having a lot of fun?"
"C-Certainly, despite saying that they make him angry, he always writes that they got to play cards or shoot at the monsters approaching the airship."
"Rudel-san, is he making friends with them?"
"I'd like to see his relationship with His Highness improve, but I don't think this is called 'friendship'. Look, it says here that he gave a laxative to one Clovis."
The letter was long and strange, at the end, he ended the message by saying something that made them both smile from the bottom of their hearts.
"I want to go home, I miss you two so much."
"We miss him too, but this is a unique opportunity for him to learn more about the world. You know Rudel never does anything willingly, so this field trip is a special opportunity."
"That's right, Rudel-san will try hard abroad! We can't lose to him!"
Airi exclaimed raising her fists while showing an intense gleam in her eyes.
"That's right. By the way, Airi, didn't you have a meeting today with the scholarship students?"
"Oh no, I'm late, I have to go now!"
"Airi."
Airi ran to the door until Alisa stopped her with her voice, turning to see her and asking what was wrong.
"You're going like that?"
She noticed that she was in her underwear. So, she covered herself in an embarrassed manner and let out an adorable "Kyah!". Which made Alisa smile and murmur. "An awkward Airi in the morning is a good way to start the day, hahaha."
Bell saw that, and mysteriously her green eye glowed.
