Chương 13: Madness
I looked at my targets and noticed the Assassin dash toward me first. She slashed at me with her dagger, only for me to dodge it with swiftness. She vanished and noticed I had dodged each one of her her invisible slashes then I elbowed her side. She grunted in pain then went flying, crashing into a tree then groaned as I fired a dark arrow through her stomach.
I walked forward toward the Snow Killer and chuckled softly. "You're next..."
The Snow Killer laughed and dashed toward me. He slashed his bladed bow at me, but I dodged it and kneed his stomach. I knocked him upwards then uppercut his face, flipping him in the air. I followed with a swift slash through the Snow Killer then made my sword disappear. A flurry of delayed slashes struck the Snow Killer and he fell to the ground.
Owen noticed I had copied his movements and moves then stared at me.
[Drive LV. 2!]
[Drive Gauge: 19%]
"Who's next?" I asked and looked at the remaining combatants.
The Gunman stepped away then vanished then reappeared behind me going for a roundhouse kick, but noticed he hit an afterimage. I appeared behind the Gunman and hit him with a roundhouse kick, sending him flying. I rushed forward with a dashing thrash then hit him with a rising kick, knocking him airborne.
I laughed softly then struck the Gunman with a staggering gut punch. The Gunman was stunned and grew weak, but I summoned a lance then thrusted it through his chest. I kicked him into the Assassin then the lance exploded, blowing both of them up.
Alice watched and placed her hands against the force field. "He's...beating them..."
Jikan appeared behind me and Alice noticed it. She knew the only way to move on was to defeat these nightmare versions of her friends. She bellowed and her body began shining. She began growing in size and shattered the force field.
"Jikan!" Alice bellowed and reverted to her normal size in the air then awakened her Wonder Ability.
[Alice's Wonder Ability Activated: Wonder Vision!]
Jikan looked at Alice then roared. He noticed Alice was flying and her eyes shined gold. She split her scissors in two then one half turned into a black royal sword then the other into a white bladed sword then a longer red blade formed on the sword. Wonder Energy surrounded her body and she transformed into her Wonder Form, obtaining wings of energy and white armor fitting her outfit.
Jikan roared and dashed toward Alice and swiped his claws at her, but she dodged the attack and flew toward him. Her heart began racing, her head was filled with only one thing and that was helping me defeat the King's Units. She struck Jikan with a flurry of slashes then knocked him away with an X shaped cutting wave. He slid back and fired multiple fireballs at Alice but she dodged each one then vanished.
"I'm sorry..."
Jikan roared in pain as four large blades impaled him. Alice appeared above Jikan with a wicked smirk on her face and her black sword raised in the air.
"But this is one game...one challenge I refuse to lose, Jikan.." Alice said and her golden eyes shined then she lowered her sword.
Jikan roared and launched a beam of energy at Alice. The beam hit her, but once the attack ended, Alice was unharmed.
"My turn..." Alice said and pointed her sword at Jikan. A small orb of energy appeared at the tip of her blade then she fired a massive beam of destructive energy at Jikan. He roared in pain then a large explosion happened.
I grunted and watched the explosion. I looked up and noticed Alice in the sky. 'This power...'
Alice slowly descended to the ground and landed on the ground. "At the end of the day, I am still the creator of Wonderland. I have all the power you peasants can only DREAM of. My sister wants to play...well let's play..."
The Phantom appeared behind Alice, going for an assassination but a clone of me appeared, knocking Alice away. She groaned as she was blown away. I used my Karma to induce The Phantom with Lust. She grunted and fell to her knees. I used my sword to behead her while she was vulnerable.
All that was left was Owen. He stared at me and Alice the readied his sword. He got into his stance and his white aura surrounded his body. He dashed toward me and slashed, but I dodged his attack then slid backwards. I firing multiple bolts of energy at him, but he used a magic circle to deflect it back toward me. I roared, causing the power of my roar to deflect the bolts of dark energy.
Alice rushed forward and slashed rapidly at Owen, but he blocked each strike and went for the attack against her. Alice smirked and slowed Owen's time down then kicked him away. I rushed forward and vanished. Owen landed on the ground and noticed afterimages of myself rushing around him.
"She's different now... something has awakened within her...Her true power. She's...Mad..." Cheshur said and chuckled.
Owen dodged each of my attacks then groaned as Alice kicked him away with a sneak attack. He crashed into a tree and noticed a massive cutting wave headed his way. He swiftly moved out of the way and noticed the cutting wave slice down a few trees before causing an explosion.
"I am the true Goddess of Wonderland...My sister is nothing more than a fake! An Envious, Greedy bastard who took everything away from me. You all know the truth and yet will blindly follow her..? No longer will I let her or these voices control me! This is my Wonderland!" Alice bellowed and began to warp the forest and the trees came to life as massive Ents.
Owen looked around and noticed Pawn Symbols shining on the trees.
"This is our Reality.." I laughed.
[Max Drive!]
Owen bellowed and roared then his white aura surged powerfully. He flew in the air then I flew after him. He noticed and propelled himself toward me and we clashed blow for blow. My heart was pounding. My head throbbing, but I enjoyed every bit of madness I felt. I needed more!
"That's what I like to see! More! Give me more!" I laughed and knocked Owen away.
Owen flew backwards and dodged the Ents that tried to attack him then groaned as I appeared above him and kicked him to the ground. I flew after him then vanished and appeared beneath him, kicking him upwards then trapping him in my dark energy.
"Checkmate...Chaos Calamity!" I roared then dark energy shot up in the air, striking Owen and the Ents around him. I bellowed as I gathered Wonder Energy around to prolong my attack.
A catastrophic explosion happened, blowing me and Alice away. We crashed into a tree and fell to the ground.

I reverted to my normal form and panted heavily. I looked at the destruction and chuckled softly. I felt Alice lean against me and looked at her. She was also in her normal form as well.
I held her hand and closed my eyes. "We did it..."
Alice smiled and closed her eyes. "We did..."

...
"So your sister is the Goddess of Wonderland huh..? I did hear you mention your sister earlier in the fight..." I said as I wrapped my arms in bandages. I stopped after I realized that this was the start of my transformation into The Joker.
Alice helped me and nodded. "She took everything away from me out of jealousy...for now only you, Aladdin, Tethys, and Dorothy know this fact. The others don't realize that the Goddess of Wonderland is my sister..."
I looked out the window and closed my eyes. "Honestly I couldn't care less about who the Goddess is. I'm just happy that you all are safe...if they had harmed you like Cheshur planned, I would've fully lost it. I am serious about having everyone with me at the end..."
Alice looked at me and smiled. She made me look at her then kissed my lips. I was taken back, but kissed back. We kissed for a few seconds before breaking the kiss. We stared into each other's eyes...
"I'm sorry for growing jealous and getting myself in danger again...I mean I should've suspected that the others would have some feelings for you as well.." Alice said and held my hands.
I smiled and shook my head. "It isn't your fault and I don't even blame Kaguya...The fault is all Cheshur's and he needs to be taken down immediately. He's also a Joker...The Goddess's Joker. He's dangerous to all of us if he can indirectly affect ones actions like he did to Kaguya..."
"He is a Divine Trickster...so he can also even pose as another being so you might have been kissing—"
"No. Don't finish that sentence." I said, nearly disgusted with myself.
Alice laughed softly and rubbed the back of my head gently. "I'm only kidding..~ Or am I..?~"
"You better be joking because I'll jump out that window right now and start over." I said and lightly chuckled.
Alice giggled softly and pecked my lips. "I'm gonna check on the others...you just focus on resting okay..?"
"Yeah.." I said and watched Alice stand up then leave the room. I laid down on the bed and sighed softly, closing my eyes.

I woke up and noticed Alice awake, but she was still laying beside me. We had been cuddling all night together, nearly closer than ever before. I looked at her and noticed she was scrolling on her phone. She set her phone down and noticed I was awake. She smiled and leaned into me the pecked my lips.
I chuckled softly and moved my hand down to her waist. "And...good morning to you too..~"
Alice smiled and rubbed my chest gently. "Good morning..~"
After the events of yesterday, it was clear of how close Alice and I had become. I heard my phone go off and took it off the nightstand.
{Snow White: I'm glad you saved us with Alice. I knew something was wrong when you and Alice had stormed out of the hotel and Kaguya was acting rather unusual. I'm actually happy that you're with us and aren't using your power for evil..}
{Suimin: Hey...Thanks... You're pretty cool..(*´∀｀*)}
'Man even her text messages sound tired...' I thought to myself.
{Kaguya: I wasn't quite myself after yesterday and I want to say sorry for doing that to you to make Alice jealous. I really wasn't in control of my own actions and for that I caused all of us to get hurt...I understand if you hate me and if you don't I'm happy that you don't hate me...I want to get stronger and better so I can avoid situations like these in the future. If you need anything...I'm just a call away~}
I smiled and set my phone down. "Looks like everything is back in order. I think I want to stay in the city for a day longer before going back out there in the madness of the Heart Region..."
Alice nodded and smiled at me. "We can stay for one last day...I actually want to spend some time with you and thank you for your help... I think you deserve a date and a special reward..~"
I looked at Alice and chuckled softly. "I'm looking forward to it.."
"I don't have a quote today so uh, goodbye..."
