All around me was nothing but darkness. I tried to open my eyes but nothing. I couldn't move. I couldn't speak and I couldn't see. Voices. All I was hearing were voices in the back of my mind, murmuring something I couldn't understand. I tried to hear what they were saying but the only thing I could understand was. Don't forget. Over and over in my head.
Slowly but surely the darkness was fading away as I slowly started to regain some consciousness. My body felt so drained of energy as I blinked tiredly. My vision was blurred, and I couldn't see anything in the cell I was in.
I was dizzy, thirsty, and alone in this empty place full of dirt and all kinds of disgusting animals.
I tried to stand up, but I was too weak to stand on my two legs and my wrists were attached to two thick shackles.
I tried to shift but I realized that I couldn't reach my wolf. No response. What did they do to her? I felt so weak.
So helpless.
“I love you so much Max. Don’t ever forget that.”
