Jinna Evans died due to a drug overdose that induced hallucinations. She ran alone to the ruins in her madness, and ultimately was crushed to death by the collapse of a dilapidated building that was already on the brink of collapse.
According to the people around her, Jinna had only lived in this place for three days, and when she came to rent the house three days ago, she was holding a newborn baby. She said it was her child, recently born.
"I haven't seen her child since yesterday," said the next-door neighbour, "I don't know whether the child was hospitalized, lost, or sent somewhere else. And now she herself is dead."
In short, with Jinna's death, any lead to the whereabouts of Joseph Thompson's child was completely severed. Now, there was no way to start the search, because it seemed Jinna had not been close with anyone in life. No one really knew who she was.
