Brian stepped closer to Isabelle, "this is not how I planned this but since the cat is already out of the bag, I like you, Isabelle. And I would love to get to know you."

Isabelle blinked at him, saying nothing for a while, no matter how she tried to process it she couldn't just do it. Looking up at him she finally spoke, "why?"

Brian shook his head, "what do you mean why?"

"Why asin why? You know nothing of me but the scandals I have been in which should give you nothing but bad impressions of me and nothing else, not to mention we have not even known each other for up to an hour."

He looked at his watch and shook his head, "time flies, it has been an hour and twenty minutes."

"My fiance is your friend."

"Your ex-fiance" he corrected.
