The hair on Sabine's neck had been standing erect all day, she was developing a tick in her neck with how often she kept looking behind herself and it hadn't helped she had the night shift today as well. It was as if her body knew, the way it prickled with anticipation and focus. She could almost hear herself counting down till he walked into the store.
