Chương 1: "Midnight Train Stops For Selected People" (Chapter 1)

A train that appears only at midnight! It stops for selected passengers.

The winter season is freezing outside now. The street is filled with snow.

My name is Michael, today I finished late my revision class. The lesson is so tough, I hardly understand all. (He is a university graduate) Right now I am on the way home.

"Ah... So cold I feel hungry now." Although I am wearing layers of winter clothes, I still feel cold.

There's no store open now because it's late. The only store would be 15 stops away from here.

This area doesn't have anyone walking. It's dead silence.

Now past midnight, 'I wonder if will I be able to catch the last train?' I should have walked faster.

I must hurry, run... or else I will be late.

I see the train has arrived just in time. (While the train was moving I saw a beautiful lady seated somewhere in the front)

I board the train with my backpack. Let me find a seat, it's going to be a long ride.

Found a seat, it's weird, not many people on the train. Usually this season there will be a lot of people.

I wonder why this season fell cold and somewhat unusual. 'Am I overthinking?'

Ah, I am soaking wet due to running earlier on. Let me find my tissues.

As I wipe the sweat, I look up and see a man looking at me opposite side and a young woman looking at me.

I just look away and wipe myself. I took out my handphone to look at it no one called, no SMS, time now is 12:30 am and my battery is 100% (He likes his battery 100% so he charged it every time).

I took out a book to read the title: "Midnight Train Horror, Romance and Zombies" It indicates this happens in the year the 1800's there are undead called corpses walking around to suck human blood. (He like Ghost stories/Fiction) I continue reading the book...

I look up again the man still looking at me when I turn and look for the young woman she disappeared. I wonder where she goes as the train didn't stop yet. I look around left and right unable to see her.

When I look the opposite again the man disappeared too.

The cabin only left me alone, I kick underneath my seat there is a bag. I open it inside there are weapons and gold bars. I quickly grabbed it and put it inside my backpack.

The train is still moving...

When I hear a scream that looks like it from the end of the train but as I listen again maybe in the center of the train. I look around... 'I wonder am I having hallucinations?'

The scream has stopped. I am still sitting when I hear a loud BANG this time, I quickly get up and look outside the train window.

I see a pitch-dark sky and outside it looks like a forest area...

Weird this train usually boards in the morning it doesn't pass by any forest area.

"Did this train turn the wrong way?"

There I think it's weird. I hear a scream again. I quickly walk towards another cabin I see a man sleeping (a different man from the one looking at me just now)

A male student looks around my age and a female student maybe it's his girlfriend both are sleeping too.

I walk forward to the next cabin.

Look like this is empty no one sitting. I walk ahead to the next cabin.

I see a man walking wobbly toward me.

While watching him walking toward me suddenly I got goosebumps.

I look at the man suddenly opened his mouth is covered in blood. (A vampire or zombie?)

I am shocked. I quickly push him away and run towards another cabin. He chased after me.

I look back while I run, shut the cabin door, and lock it. (Panting sounds)

I say to myself "Wah" is this REAL thing in the book just now I read it's "Real".

"Now, what am I supposed to do?"

The train didn't stop at all and I look at my watch it was 1:10 a.m., I thought there was a stop that passes 10 mins ago.

"How come the train didn't stop?"

Looking back in thoughts now means all the sleeping people are dead and they haven't awakened yet or slept.

This is bad how many people are there on this train and how many had been bitten?

Now is not a good time to think about this. I must move before the undead comes here.

I see a beautiful lady, with fair skin sitting looking down... She looks in shock stead. (This was the lady I saw just now before I walked on the train.)

As I approach her...

Cron... Cron... (Sounds)

"What's that sound like?"

Michael covers the beautiful lady.

"Are you okay?"

"No, there's something almost biting me."

"What is that did you see clearly?"

"I don't know." (She's trembling as she talks.)
