Chương 14: Escaping helheim and Tyr's truth
"Ok, how deep in helheim are we?" I asked Mimir as we parkour through helheim. "This is the worst place we could of been placed" Mimir answered. "I see a ship" Kratos informed as we saw a bid viking like war ship in the distance. "Take us there. It will get us half way to Tyr's temple but it'll at least get us far from here" Mimir said encouraging us to move. "Then you two hold on. I'll get us there" I said but stopped just as I saw bauldur. "Wait hold up. Bauldur is here" I wispered to everyone as we eves dropped on an echo that shows a convo between bauldur and Freya.
Long story short, Freya was bauldur's mother who out of paranoia intended to bless him with invulnerability to everything but ended up cursing him instead as he couldn't literally feel anything. "Damn. Now I see why he's like this. Sigh, come on Freya. Why the hell would you think that was a good idea" I thought as I silently brought the gang into my shadow and use [shadow travel] to bring everyone to the ship.
"Alright we're here everyone" I said as we
came out of the shadows. "Er... not entirely sure this is seaworthy" Mimir said. "She will do" Kratos rebudled as we explored the old and brittle Viking ship. "Hey. You guys wanna see something cool" I said as I spread my hellfire across the ship slowly turning it into a battle ship enshrouded in crimson hellfire with modernized cannon's at the side with a kitsune head spewing hellfire at the sides of it's mouth in the front part of the boat.
"What in the bloody blazes did you do!?" Mimir asked shocked at what I just did. "Cool right? I basically morphed this old boat into one hell of a battle ship so we can get out of here easier" I said in a matter of a fact tone. Kratos pulled up the sails and we sailed the sea of helheim on a hellfire battle ship ready to take on the world. "Hey look, we're moving" Atreus said in a slightly excited tone. "Great. Just bear in mind--this boat can only take us part of the way. Tyr's temple is near the top of a tremendous waterfall which. Sadly we are downstream" Mimir said explaining the situation. We continued to sail as Atreus and Mimir had a conversation on the vanir's boat Skiõblaõnir on how that boat can fly while this one doesn't.
"Nevertheless, this is the ship we have. We make due" Kratos said ending their conversation. We stayed like this sailing the sea until we hit a huge iceberg, blocking our movement. "Hold on I got this" I said as I used my hellfire to make four large hover boosters on the sides and made the boat slowly take to the skies. "Hey! We're actually floating!" Atreus yelled with awe and excitement in his voice. That was until we got stuck on something but with me, Atreus, and Kratos, we all push it off and free our temporary helacraft carrier. Until someone or something wanted the smoke as waves after waves of hel-walkers and other monster's came into the mix.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me" I thought as I ran in guns blazing and called out my 1911s switching them into redemption, combining into a twelve gage shotgun as I blast these monsters to bits while my hell cannons take out the harpoon like anchor's that are being shot at us. "Alright that's IT!" I shouted with frustration in my voice as I wrap the entire ship in my hellfire chains and spin them around at high speeds with hellfire constructed blades spinning with the chain like a buzz saw, cutting any mosters trying to get onboard to shreds.
5 minutes later I unwrap the spinning chain bladed buzz saw but out of nowhere three harpoon's anchor of the front of the boat, dragging us down. "Shit. we're gonna have cut the front off" I said as I removed all the hellfire from the boat and jumped in the air, bringing out Izanami and use [quick draw] cutting the front part of the boat off as it's dragged down by the harpoons. "Jump!!" Atreus yelled as we all jumped of the boat blasting in through the roof of Tyr's temple. "That was your plan! You're all cracked!" Mimir shouted. "We are leaving this realm. Now" Kratos said hastily. "As long we didn't wreck our way back" Atreus rebudled as we entered another sealed chamber.
"What is this place?" Atreus asked as we landed in an unknown part of the temple.
"This is Odin's. I recognize his atrocious taste anywhere" Mimir answered with distane in his voice. There were two doors that were in the room. we decided to take the one behind us which just had loot but it was a enchantment rune that boosts all stats called Eye of the outer realm. After taking anything of use we head to the next door that when opened had a broken missing panel about Tyr.
"Odin must have stolen it. But why?" Atreus asked. " He always has his reasons. Might I have a look?" Mimir asked as Kratos held him in front of the panel. "Well... this is most unexpected" Mimir said. We take a closer look at the panel and Mimir's eye reveals secret plans that Tyr had which gave us a new way to get to Jotunhiem. "Huh. So Tyr had a backup plan but we need a key for it. But how do we make this key?" I asked. "I suggest we ask a dwarf" Mimir answered. "And we know just the dwarf or dwarfs I should say" I thought as continued our walk until we found a lift. Hopping on the lift we proceeded to head down as we entered the realm travel room.
"Alright. Let's get back to Midguard and see about making that key. Where's that drawf" Mimir said as we set the coordinates to Midguard. "Now head--why did you not tell us Baldur is the son of Freya?" Kratos asked in a demanding tone. Mimir goes on a small tangent about how he was shocked about Baldur being Freya's son even though he already knew it. "Chuckle. Freya" Kratos chuckled as if knowing what was going on. "How's that brother?" Mimir asked. Kratos asked Mimir about Baldur again and he repeated what he said before. Turns out Mimir is bewitched not to speak anything more personal about Baldur. "Well can't have that" I thought as I used my Phoenix flames to burn the curse and heal Mimir's brain.
"Ah. Now I remember, Baldur's weakness is mistletoe. The same thing on your chest little brother. And thank you Rey for freeing me of that little curse" Mimir said telling us Baldur's weakness and thanking me in the process.
"It's no problem Mimir" I said as we just left the travel room.
