Chương 18: 17: The World Outside

Unbeknownst to Kalki who was inside the dungeon a lot happened in the outside world.

After a few days of his entering inside the dungeon a group of 5 people reached the tree where Ravilah flowers previously were.

However, since Kalki already took everything, what was left there was only a simple looking tree.

In the group of 5 people, 4 were wearing yellow masks and hoods, the distinct one with red mask and hood was the acting team leader.

The whole party searched around the place and found no traces of Kalki or Ravilah flowers' presence.

Due to the dungeon being hidden and inaccessible they weren't able to even find a clue about either Kalki or the presence of the hidden dungeon.

The person with red mask on his face looked at the others and asked,

" Are you sure it was here ?"

"Y..es sir, I am sure those flowers were on this tree. I swear I saw them here" the person replied fumbling.

"I hope you aren't lying K "

As the red masked person spoke his hand moved and pointed at K's location.

With the moment of his fingers the person started to scream as he was in immense pain.

After few minutes the red masked put down his hand and the person stopped screaming and instantly spoke,

"I swear sir, in the name of the devil lord I swear it was here".

" Sh*t! It looks like someone is a traitor among our fraction.

The only possibility of anyone taking those flowers is from among our faction, those other fools don't even know about the importance of these yet….."

The red mask person instantly deduced the situation as he heard his subordinate K swearing on the devil lord. Because of the mana oath and demon pact it was impossible to lie this so red masked instantly took quick actions.

"C and L you go and search the surroundings.

Found any news of someone carrying these types of flowers or either entering or exiting the forest"

"P and K you will move with me and secure the rest of the flowers if there are any in the vicinity. we will collect them and deliver it to the young lords mansion"

The red mask man instantly ordered all four of his subordinates and they all dispersed immediately after the conversation.

Unknown to Kalki who accidentally took almost all of the flowers and left a little for the devil fraction, he had already stopped a major growth of a prominent figure in the devil fraction.

With a month passed by all the activities of the devil faction group stopped and unknown to any of this Kalki inside the dungeon finally opened his eyes.

"Ahh… shit this damn headache,"

Kalki said, massaging his head.

"Will I lose consciousness everytime I use my mana art skill? I have to be careful to not use it above my capacity".

Kalki sat on the ground and finally gained his composure. After drinking water and eating some food he finally felt recovered enough.

After this Kalki sat in a meditative position and checked his body and found out 2 mana cores seemed to be working perfectly fine.

With a cheeky smile on his face he opened his eyes and checked his status screen.

Kalki felt elated by looking at his stats. His mana was now a whole rank up like magician but it wasn't amounted.

On the other hand he also got a minor stats up in his constitution which was his weakest from the very beginning due to his health.

"Wait a minute, I am not feeling any pain in my body now? And there are no black spots on my body?"

Kalki moved to the pond near him to watch his reflection and it truly shocked him. There was no presence of his previous conditions, his body felt like someone else.

"Now that I look at my face I too am handsome isn't it? Maybe not on the level of main cast but still on satisfactory level"

It was the first time for Kalki when he saw his face clearly. He had black hair that had a little shine to them. His eyes on the other hand were greenish in color.

So now he was certain that the health condition he had was no longer with him.

Moving on Kalki tried using his new mana art skill that he got after he formed his second mana core with the help of existing mana pathways of mana art.

Kalki wasn't sure but maybe this somehow helped Kalki in unlocking his new mana art skill, 'Void prison'.

The Void prison was not an offensive skill. It provided Kalki with a subspace which he could use to trap or store things in a void space unique to him.

Although Kalki couldn't use this skill for anything big except for storing day to day things , Ambit in the novel used it in a way which was fearsome for his opponents.

The void prison was hell for the opponents once trapped inside. Also Ambit placed many conditions on prison which made it harder for prisoners to ever find a way out.

"At Least i don't have to worry about subspace rings anymore"

Kalki expressed his thoughts as he stood up from his position and moved towards the entrance of the dungeon where the exit stone was.
