Driving through the busy streets, Kalisa followed Jade's taxi closely but distant enough not to bring attention to herself. It was already past noon and temperatures were soaring high as the heatwave from the sun came down heavily on its subordinates. But the former was least bothered; given the fact that the air con in her car was keeping her from the dreadful heat.
Kalisa's eyes stayed glued to the car ahead of her, watching every curve and turn they made– just to be sure not to miss them. She was so anxious and eager to know what the former was up to that; the thought of meeting her brother barely came to mind. After what seemed like an endless drive, the taxi finally pulled up at MARK HILLS HOSPITAL.
Pulling up a distance away from them, Kalisa strained her eyes through the windscreen as her brows creased with curiosity.
"Hospital?" She grumbled, the fact about the former's mother being hospitalized barely coming to mind.
