Ingomar, the God of Fame, stood in a colossal chamber surrounded by millions of circle-shaped yellow lights, these were prayers from humans.

Prayers were filled with countless wishes: to help their families, to become rich, to bring back loved ones, to gain fame and luck.

But why do gods almost never answer prayers? Because performing good deeds doesn't significantly strengthen a god's Golden Neba.

The true and a better way to enhance their power is by fulfilling human desires and eliciting strong emotions.

These emotions feed and strengthen the gods. However, simply making every human happy would be counterproductive.

If people were constantly content, why would they even pray to the gods for help?

Gods need to create reasons for humans to pray. The stronger their desires and the more fervent their prayers, the more Neba the gods receive.
