As the goblins moved deeper into the woods, they encountered a variety of dangerous and deadly creatures. The first threat they faced was a pack of toxic, venomous spiders. These arachnids were not to be trifled with, as they could spit a highly corrosive acid that could quickly dissolve flesh and bone.
Fortunately, the goblins were not caught off guard and were able to dispatch the spiders with ease. Gobusuke and Gobulus, the Shadow Blade Goblin, moved with lightning-fast speed as they engaged the Toxic Poisonous Spiders. With their razor-sharp blades and deadly precision, they sliced through the spiders' tough exoskeletons with ease, leaving them writhing on the ground in their death throes.
In a matter of moments, the spiders were wiped out, and the goblins continued on their journey.
Next, the goblins stumbled upon a huge Vicious Bear, whose size and strength were truly formidable. The bear charged at the goblins with a fury that shook the ground beneath them. However, Gobius, the group's expert sniper, took a deep breath, steadied his aim, and fired a single, deadly shot that hit the bear right between the eyes. The beast fell to the ground with a mighty thud, its eyes glazed over in death.
The final foe that the goblins encountered was a massive Vicious Python Snake, coiled tightly around a tree trunk. Gobulus, the Scythelord Goblin with the ability to harvest souls, was able to slice the snake into multiple pieces with ease, effectively neutralizing the threat. The goblins were relieved to have vanquished these dangerous creatures and continued on their way towards their destination.
After some time, the goblins found themselves just a few meters away from the entrance to the territory they sought.
The goblins quickly divided into two teams, each led by a skilled and experienced leader. Goburus took charge of one team while Gobusuke led the other. Both teams moved with a calculated and coordinated effort, eager to execute their plan flawlessly.
Once they reached their respective positions, Gobrielle sprang into action. Gobrielle, the Beastcaller Goblin, summoned two massive Metal Rhinoceros and commanded them to charge towards the wooden walls surrounding the enemy's territory.
The Rhinoceroses crashed into the wall with a deafening thud, sending splinters of wood flying everywhere. The impact was so forceful that the ground shook beneath the feet of the goblins. The Lizard Men in the territory were startled by the sudden noise and quickly sprang into action, running towards the source of the disturbance.
After the wall had been destroyed, Goburus' team quickly entered the enemy territory. As they moved deeper into the territory, they encountered a group of five Trident Warrior Lizard Man.
The warriors were each adorned in intricate armor made of tough, green reptilian scales, and their trident weapons gleamed menacingly in the dim light. The Lizard Men themselves were tall and muscular, with sharp teeth and piercing yellow eyes that glared fiercely at the invading goblins.
The Lizard Men let out a fierce battle cry and charged at the goblins with their weapons held high.
Before the Lizard Men could reach the goblins, their heads were suddenly blown off one by one, caught by surprise by the swift and deadly marksmanship of Gobryx, the Shadow Pistolero Goblin.
As the last Lizard Man fell to the ground, Gobryx let out a confident chuckle and spoke, "Not today, scaly boys. Gobryx always gets his target," as he twirled his dual pistols in his hands.
Suddenly, the sound of approaching footsteps filled the air, and the goblins turned to see a large group of Lizard Men, numbering around 50 or more, running towards them from the far end of the territory. The goblins quickly realized that they had poked the nest, and it was time to retreat.
Goburus quickly spoke up, "It looks like we have stirred up a hornet's nest. We have accomplished our first objective, boys. Let's run for now!"
The goblins quickly gathered their gear and made a hasty retreat, sprinting away from the territory as fast as they could. The Lizard Men pursued them, their rage and thirst for revenge spurring them on. As the goblins ran, they could hear the angry shouts of the Lizard Men behind them.
While in the west, Gobusuke could hear the commotion happening in the east and quickly realized that the mission had begun. "It looks like they have started," he muttered to himself, before turning to his team.
"Gobius, position yourself in a tree where you can monitor the situation and provide support if necessary. Keep an eye out for any opportunities to strike at the Lizard Men Leader and take it if you can," Gobusuke ordered, his voice firm and commanding.
"Gobbie, you will assist Gobius in his position. Keep him safe and be vigilant for any incoming enemies. Notify him immediately if there is any danger nearby," he continued.
"Gobulus and I will be entering the territory to locate and neutralize the Lizard Men Leader. Stay sharp and be ready to provide support if needed," Gobusuke said, his tone conveying both confidence and caution.
The team quickly dispersed to their respective positions, their movements are quick and decisive. Gobusuke led Gobulus towards the lizard men's territory's wall, stopping at a safe distance from it.
He then turned to Gobulus and instructed him, "Jump on my hands. I'll throw you to the wall. Once you enter the territory, quickly scan your surroundings for any nearby enemies. Take them out if you can, but if not, just hide and wait for my signal."
Gobulus looked at Gobusuke with concern and asked, "What about you, Captain? How will you get over the wall?"
Gobusuke gave a small grin and replied, "I can jump on my own, don't worry about me. Just focus on your task, and be quick about it."
With that, Gobulus nodded and prepared himself for the jump, taking a deep breath before leaping onto Gobusuke's hands. Gobusuke then threw him with all his might, and Gobulus soared over the wall and landed with a light thud on the other side.
Upon entering the territory, Gobulus quickly noticed two Lizard Men, one wielding a blade and the other a bow. After assessing the situation, he determined that he could take them both out. With practiced ease, he activated his Shadow Clone skill and sent his clone to dispatch the blade-wielding warrior while he dealt with the archer.
Gobulus was incredibly swift, moving silently and efficiently. The two Lizard Men were completely caught off guard and didn't even notice him approaching from behind. Gobulus swiftly sliced the throats of both warriors, quickly ending their lives. He then dragged their bodies to a nearby corner and deactivated his Shadow Clone, taking cover and waiting for Gobusuke to arrive.
The entire encounter lasted only a few seconds, a testament to Gobulus' skill and training. As he waited for his captain to arrive, he scanned his surroundings, remaining alert for any other threats that might emerge.
On the other side, Gobusuke focused his mind and channeled his energy into his body. The air around him began to crackle and surge with white-hot electricity, as he prepared to make his leap over the wall. With a deep breath, he launched himself into the air, his body moving with incredible speed and agility as he soared over the wall and landed gracefully on the other side.
As Gobulus waited for his captain, he suddenly saw a flash of white lightning in the corner of his eye. He turned his head just in time to see Gobusuke soaring over the wall, his body moving with such fluid grace that he seemed to be flying through the air. Gobulus watched in awe as his captain landed on the ground on the other side, his feet touching down so quietly that not even a leaf rustled in the breeze.
"Whoo, Captain is truly amazing," Gobulus whispered to himself in admiration, a grin spreading across his face.
Gobusuke approached Gobulus and patted him on the back, acknowledging his successful landing. "Good job, Gobulus. Now, let's go find the Lizard Men's leader and end this once and for all."
Gobulus nodded in agreement and followed Gobusuke as they moved deeper into the territory. They moved with careful steps, making sure to stay hidden from any wandering enemies.
After a few minutes of sneaking around, Gobusuke and Gobulus found themselves at the center of the territory, where they spotted a large tent situated at the edge of a clearing. They cautiously made their way towards it, careful not to draw any attention.
As they approached the tent, they could hear muffled voices emanating from within. They peeked through a small opening in the fabric and beheld the imposing figure of the Lizard Men leader, seated on a throne and flanked by ten guards wielding tridents.
Gobusuke and Gobulus exchanged a knowing glance and nodded to each other silently. They both understood that they had finally found their target.
Gobulus leaned towards Gobusuke and whispered, "Captain, looks like we finally found the big guy."
