Olivia took her shower put on that were awfully bright, rubbed the green slime all over her body and then walked downstairs where her mom quickly pulled her by the arm.
"Gran-gran is ill so we're heading there tomorrow and for the sake of your studies we'll be back before Monday"
"Gran-gran" Olivia whispered. She loved her grandmom more than her parents and she knew this trip would be the best time for her parents to bond but she remembered she already had Dave and Robert waiting.
"Mom is it okay if I invite my friends over for dinner" Olivia said hoping her mom would approve of her idea.
"Sure, the more the merrier"
Olivia ran up the stairs and looked for her phone and as she found it she dialed Dave's number.
"Dave, Robert change of plans, you're up for dinner at my house by 8 right"
"Sure, but won't your parents find it odd that you invited just boys over" Dave asked and Olivia knew he was right.
"Invite Josaphine over okay" Olivia replied.
"Why she's not..." Before Dave could finish his sentence her phone's battery died.
Olivia shook her head as her phone was was always at full bar but now she seemed to have formed the habit of always leaving her phone uncharged.
She plugged her phone and looked over at her pile of homework. Being the nerd she was she couldn't resist the call of her sweet sweet assignments and before she realized it she was already done with her assignments.
She looked at the clock that was hung on her wall and noticed it was seven fourty five, knowing Robert would be there anytime soon she quickly made her way downstairs to make some finishing arrangements.
She helped her mom set up the table and at the same time stole some pastries for herself hoping she would go unnoticed.
When she was done she sat next to Molly and looked over to her.
"So, hmm, are you close with gran-gran" Olivia said trying to strike up a friendly conversation.
"Yes really close, so you've decided to come down from your room for a moment I thought you still did that thing dad said you do" Molly said seeming less displeased of her dad.
"He told you" Olivia said as her cheeks changed colour, she blushed and her cheeks became as red as the tomatoes her mom used in her salad.
She turned over to Molly and before she could say anything she heard the door bell ring.
She voluntarily offered to get the door as she knew who was on the other side.
As she opened the door she saw Josaphine and she quickly embraced her.
"Josaphine, I thought you couldn't come"
"And miss the fun? no way, when Dave said you invited me for dinner I quickly decided to come"
"Oh." she replied as she led them in.
"Olivia..." Molly said and as soon as she saw Robert she froze.
Sorry for the late release
