Chương 2: Ch.2

Twenty minutes later we were back at the diner while Luffy ate all he could and Zoro, after spending nearly a month starving, ate his own fill. I had a decent sized meal since it was on the house anyways and the marines showed up when we were finishing.

Luffy went through the drama with nearly spilling Kolby's secret of being a cabin boy on a pirate ship when Kolby punched him to shut him up. Luffy returned the punch and then some until the marines stopped him and spoke. "Clearly he's not with you. Since you're pirates you need to leave this town. This is a one time thing and if you stay or come back we'll be forced to uphold justice and arrest you!"

Zoro, Luffy and I headed for the dingy that barely fit all three of us and set sail to the marines saluting us including their new recruit Kolby. Luffy laughed and I set the sail to catch a head wind.

A full night and morning of rowing saw us three fourths of the way to Orange town. When it was Luffy's turn to row, he got distracted by hunger and rocketed off to catch a bird. Unfortunately or fortunately, the bird caught him instead.

Growling, Zoro and I both grabbed the paddles and went after him. We came upon three stranded pirates swimming and calling for help and Zoro yelled to them. "Grab on! We're not stopping!"

As soon as they climbed aboard they tried to rob us. Snorting, we beat them senseless and forced them to row. When we arrived at Orange town a giant explosion rocked the town. The three clown pirates with us mentioned it was Buggy the Clown's special Buggy cannon balls.

Sighing I asked Zoro. "What are the chances that's where Luffy is?"

Smiling he answered. "The odds are in our favor because that's where the fight is as well."

Chuckling I nodded. "Sounds good to me. You go see what's up there, I'm gonna rob their ship since it's right here. I'll meet up when I have everything of value we can sell off to buy our own ship."

He nodded and took off while I turned to the three clown pirates and used my conquerors haki, knocking them out. I then proceeded to strip their ship of it's gold, the grand line map and all it's weapons and ammo.

Eight cannons, twenty riffles, fifty low quality swords and various knives as well as fifty cases of basic iron ball bullets at around seven hundred rounds all together and finally thirteen barrels of gun powder. All in all it was a decent haul considering it was a small time pirate crew in the weakest sea.

The piece la resistance was seven special cannon balls and an assortment of smaller bullet size versions. As for the treasure, it amounted to about fifteen million berries all together. I left the ship practically defenseless and without even a single defensive weapon or ammo.

It took about six minutes and with my Soru, I caught up with Zoro just as he saved Nami, the orange haired thief from before, from a group of clown pirates. I snapped my finger, sending the cannon they had tried to blow up Luffy with through a portal below it. It would land fine enough in the armory with only a three foot drop in all and it looked sturdy enough to be fine.

I turned to Luffy as Nami looked confused with the rest. "Why are you in that Luffy?"

He laughed. "Damien! I got caught. Shishishishi!"

I sighed. "The top and bottom is stone. I repeat, why are you in that Luffy? Have you become weak or something?"

He caught on before tilting his head. "You're right!"

He stood up with extreme force, busting the cage they'd stuck him in. I grabbed his ropes and ripped them off him before he turned to Buggy. "Hey big nose! Let's fight!"

I chuckled and told my captain. "Luffy, Buggy is famous for having a devil fruit called the chop chop fruit. He can split himself up at will. His only weakness is blunt damage like punches and the fact that his feet have to stay on the ground."

Luffy nodded and took a fighting stance while Zoro took out some of the small fries. Richie and Moji the lion and lion tamer came out of the big top tent. Sighing, I moved and beat them both down with a single punch apiece while Zoro fought with an acrobatic so called swordsman.

With Buggy's weakness, Nami tying up his detached body parts and a battle ready Luffy, Luffy beat the clown easily and sent him flying while the clown cursed something about Red Haired Shanks as he was rocketed off. Zoro cut down his enemy, Cabaji the acrobat.

The small fries grabbed the Lieutenants of their ship and fled at high speeds to catch up with Buggy. We left Buggy's body parts there and Nami searched around for the left over treasures in the big top tent. She found what Buggy had collected from the town and took it.

I waved Luffy off and tossed what I'd stolen from Alvida's pirate group in a pile with some cash to help the villagers fix up the town as we left. Nami went to grab it, but I stopped her with a shake of my finger. "Ah ah, the villagers need this to repair the town. Since you're obviously looking out for yourself, don't steal what we leave behind to help the innocents. We may be pirates, but we don't hurt or steal from civilians. Not all pirates are the same, but at least we have a code we live by. Marines, pirate hunters and other pirates are fair game, but civilians and the innocent aren't our targets ever."

Nami frowned and looked at us before Luffy laughed. "Alright! Now on to the next adventure!"

Zoro laughed and I smiled while we left. Nami followed us while asking me. "What happened to the cannon from before and how did you bring out the jewels and money?"

I showed her my ring. "This is a special ring I made and soaked in the juices of a special devil fruit. It's my treasure and something my parents died to bring to me. It's all I have from them other than the stories my grandparents told me. The marines and World Government hunted them down and killed them even though they weren't pirates. My father didn't want to follow that path you see, he became a merchant instead and married my mother. But the devil fruit was too tempting and when it caught a world Nobles eye, they ordered him and my mother to be made into slaves. My grandpa found out and saved them only for them to be killed trying to retrieve this to give me a better future. They died getting it back..."

I clenched my hand and shed a silent tear. "I'd kill anyone who tried to take it from me and burn them alive if they succeeded."

I left her standing there shocked while Luffy had heard the story, kept walking and Zoro stayed quiet, but grabbed his white katana while Luffy grabbed his hat. Sighing, I hopped on the boat and Luffy got on the same while Zoro got on Nani's small boat since she and Luffy had a deal to help each other out.

She was our official Navigator for now so it was fine. When she got on her boat that was docked next to ours, I told her. "Fair warning, don't let Zoro guide your boat, he has no sense of direction. We spent the night last night making up time because he had us going in the wrong direction."

She sighed and Zoro complained, but I ignored his refusals that he was terrible with directions. Instead I set our course and followed Nami's boat as she led the way.

Along the way, she mentioned sharing treasure and I chuckled. "Sure, but I gotta warn you it won't all fit in your boat. I turned in a few bounties along the way since I've not got my own and they weren't the nice kind of pirates we are so there's a lot plus I raided Buggy's ship for gold valuables and weapons we could sell to buy our own boat. All in all there's about seventy million berries in gold and cash and another thirty million in weapons and supplies since they were all low grade stuff. Though the Buggy balls would probably sell really high."

Nami's eyes turned to money signs and Luffy laughed. Zoro smiled and I leaned back against the small mast of our boat. Nami made me promise to show her it all when we reached the next island.

Several hours later with Nani's precise navigation we found our next island, Rare animal island. As soon as we made land a voice threatened us to leave and Luffy smiled happily. "I smell adventure!"

Chuckling, I showed Nami the money to prove my words before putting it all away and told Luffy to have fun that I'd catch a few sea kings to eat. I stripped down to only my swords and no shirt, leaving just my pants and jumped in the ocean. My gun and other clothes were stored in my den while my ring became inactive while I swam in the sea.

The only true way to remove it's devil fruit power was to break it so it was fine. I found a serpentine sea king and a giant bull like fish and sliced them up before dragging them up to the island and tossing their corpses out of the water. A large school of sharks came to see where the blood came from and they joined the sea kings.

With a decent pile of sea creatures ready, I made a fire pit and spit them all after cleaning them. While they cooked, Luffy and the others came back with a box man. Seeing the poor man sad, I looked over his single pistol and his treasure chest body.

Sighing, I used a form of fishman Karate to vibrate his body's water, shattering the chest to bits and revealing a half naked dwarf that nearly looked identical to the chest after all this time. I made a portal and a high tear gun fell out.

It was a revolver I'd made to look like the famous Colt from supernatural. I'd adjusted it to take basic ball bullets as well before tossing it to the small man. "There. It's a much better gun than the three shot flintlock you have. It can shoot five and even be used with an average speed reloader or plain ball bullets like a flintlock. It also packs a hell of a punch and does more damage than what you have."

The small man took the new gun I presented and shed a few tears as he looked over the intricate design. Sighing, I asked Luffy. "So, how was the adventure?"

Luffy shrugged and Nami pouted. "The treasure was already gone!"

I nodded and shrugged. "That's fine I guess. Did you bring back the chests? I can use them to store the treasure we have and find later in them."

Luffy raised a finger before running off with a smile and coming back with three empty chests. I filled them up easily and still had more jewels and cash left over. It did however make my treasure area in my den much cleaner as a good portion of the treasure was sorted now.

We left the Animal island after breakfast and headed for Gecko Island where syrup village lay. After several hours of following a professional navigator, we arrived just towards lunch time. A man yelled out. "Halt pirates! Don't even think about attacking this island! It's under the protection of me, the great captain Usopp and my eighty million pirate crew!"

I raised an eyebrow and Nami asked. "You mean just yourself and those three in the bushes over there right?"

Usopp spoke out loud forgetting us for a moment. "Ack! She found out!"

Chuckling, I stepped forwards and a bullet fired from Usopp's slingshot hit where I was about to step. Raising my head, I looked up at him before smirking and taking the next step. He went to fire another and I pulled my gun, shooting his bullet out of the air and warning him. "These aren't toys for kids to play with. You'd better be willing to risk your life if you draw your pistol...kid."

I cocked the hammer of my dragon thorn and raised an eyebrow with a serious face. "I'm ready, are you?"

Usopp gulped as I could tell he lost his will to fight. When he dropped his ammo and lowered his slingshot, I put away my gun and sighed. "You remind me of Yasopp from Shanks's crew except for the nose. You're his kid right?"

Usopp leaned forwards and fell off the hill landing down in front of us. Luffy smiled and I helped Usopp up. He asked. You know my dad?"

I nodded. "He and Benn Beckman taught me to shoot when I was sixteen. I haven't seen their crew in almost four years but I swear you look just like him except the nose and hair color. Yasopp is a blondish gold haired man while you seem to have black hair so I'd say you got both from your mother?"

He nodded and I smiled. "That cool. Anyways, we're a bit hungry if you could show us to a restaurant that would be great and I'll even fill you in on the last I saw of him over a meal."

Usopp agreed easily and led the way to the pub in the village. While we ate I told him about my marksman lessons and his father's constant bragging about having the best son in the world. "I know it's not ideal but he sails on a Yonko's crew and if the marines or other pirates knew you were his son, they might use you as leverage to get him killed or worse."

Usopp gulped. "What's worse?"

I sighed. "They could simply wish to take revenge for a slight or make an example of you to prove to themselves that they aren't afraid of a Yonko or his crew. Trust me, death would be preferable. What the celestial dragons, aka the world nobles, and the marines did to my parents....just trust me, death is preferable in that case."

Usopp sweated profusely as even he went silent and considered my words. I drank some rum and smiled. "There is a way you can meet him again and perhaps one day declare to the world that you're his son."

Usopp raised his and and asked weakly. "Really?"

I nodded. "Go out to sea as a pirate and become strong, so strong in fact, that the world government, marines and other pirates wouldn't dare to touch you! Then, when you're ready, you can scream it to the heavens as your own man and declare yourself Usopp, son of Yasopp and a formidable pirate to boot!"

Usopp smiled while Luffy seemed to like that idea as well. He didn't offer yet but that was all fine. Usopp stood up and told us. "I-I have some things to do, I'll see you all later!"

He left while we finished our meal. Not long afterwards the trio of kids came over and asked about Usopp. Zoro told him while picking his teeth. "We ate him."

I grinned and Luffy burped causing the small kids to shiver until Nami took pity on them and told them. "He left saying he had something important to do."

I stood up and downed my mug before snapping a finger and summoning a small stack of cash onto the table. Nami quickly counted it out before leaving it be and narrowing her eyes at me.

I shrugged and told them. "I'm gonna go somewhere to find a nap, let me know when you're ready to fight or leave."

Luffy nodded and I left them listening to the little kids tell them about Usopp's sick friend. I ignored it and headed to the north side of the beach. There I used Geppo and headed out a ways to sea and snuck onto the black cat pirate's ship. I waited until night and using Soru I stole every weapon, ammo and piece of food not nailed down including the cannons.

All the pirates were left with was their captain Jango's hypnotist ring and the lieutenant's claw gloves. I even stole the anchor, ropes and extra blank sails as well as half the nails in the ship.

By morning the pirate ship was barely held together and not at all well equipped. I left them and found a nice tree branch by the edge of the forest and ramp to the beach where they would eventually make land.

I took a nap after concealing my presence, a trick I learned on Rusukaina to survive. It was basically reeling in any intent or thought of action or harm while closing your mind off to the outside world to all but an instinctual degree in case of a direct threat.

It took years of practice to hone and was one of the first survival techniques I came up with on my own. I dozed off towards sunrise and had a great nap until a loud ass crash shook the area. I ended up falling out of my tree and landing on my head.

While my new headache throbbed, I looked around to see Zoro fighting Sham and Buchi, two of the three pirates that actually had weapons. Luffy had destroyed the ship's stempost and was now laying asleep under it. Nami was injured after having kicked Zoro's swords back to him.

Sighing, I pulled my Dragon thorn and shot Jango in the head. After I holstered it, I used Soru and beat all the enemies unconscious except Sham and Buchi whom Zoro was fighting. I kicked Luffy in the head with a small bit of haki to wake his ass up and picked up the stempost off of him, throwing it into the ship and destroying it for good.

Luffy woke up screaming about his grandpa for some reason before looking around. "Oh! The bad guys are all beat up!"

I chuckled and shook my head as Kuro of the Hundred Plans came over. He frowned and I told Luffy. "You can have him then. He's their captain after all."

He nodded and ran up the hill with his arms stretching while I turned to Zoro. "Are you about done there Zoro? It's pretty pathetic that you couldn't even hold onto your swords, being a swordsman and all."

He gritted his teeth and growled. "Sure, just one second!"

He shoved them back and used his own version of a dragon twister then added his Lion hunting three sword style slash, injuring them both grievously. I turned to Nami. "Help me tie up the beaten up crew and I'll tell you what I stole from their ship while they were sleeping last night."

She perked up and grabbed some of the rigging rope from the wreckage while we tied them all up hogtie style. Luffy's fight with their captain Kuro went on until Kuro used his secret technique and tried to cut up his own crew and me.

I used my blade and shattered the sword claws he had for gloves, leaving him with only his fists and fancy footwork as I kicked him back to Luffy. "Oy' captain, don't let him start attacking us now. If you can't beat him just say the word and I'll do it."

That got Luffy fired up and the next time Kuro used his footwork, this time to escape and use Kaya, Usopp's friend and rich island girl as bait since she just arrived, Luffy slugged him right in the face, breaking his glasses and sending him flying into the wreckage by us.

He'd slapped his head into the mast and was out for the count. Chuckling, I went through the wreckage and took the nails and good wood that was left I even took the hammocks and the pirate's clothes, leaving them dirt poor and naked except the smelly ones.

Even Kuro was now tied up and in his boxers. I took their sea charts, maps and all the books and notes Kuro had written while we left them all their helpless, beaten and tied up. Kaya brought us back to the diner before she and her new head butler, Meri, presented us with the caravel, The Going Merry.

Smiling, we all partied the night away before loading up the ship with supplies and getting ready to cast off. Kaya and Meri saw us off and Usopp came running before rolling down the hill with a big overstuffed backpack screaming to help stop him.

Luffy and Zoro did while I laughed and got aboard. I climbed to the crows nest and claimed my own spot aboard Merry. Soon enough Usopp was joining us, but telling everyone to call him captain Usopp. I jumped down and shook my head at his antics.

I shrugged it off before telling Luffy. "I've filled the storage with all the food supplies it can hold that I've confiscated from the marines and pirates we've come across. Now all we need is a flag and we're set."

Usopp volunteered as Luffy failed at drawing the flag his first time. When he drew one with a long nose I laughed and told him we needed a Strawhat flag and not one for his 'crew' of eighty million.

He made a more animated one which was perfect for us and Luffy laughed saying. "I like it! Draw it on the main sail and hang this one up!"

Chuckling, I hung the first pirate flag up while Usopp got to drawing a bigger version on our main sail. Several hours later Usopp and Luffy were firing the main cannon for test firing while I slept in the crow's nest. When they went inside for lunch, I heard screaming and got up, jumping down just in time to stop Johnny from damaging the ship in a rage for Luffy and Usopp's test firings on the small rocky island before.

He screamed at me to pay for hurting his friend and I took his sword he tried to swing at me from him. Zoro came out and asked. "Oh Johnny! Where's Yosaku?"

Johnny broke down into tears. "Big bro Zoro! Yosaku's sick!"

I frowned and told him. "Go get your friend and we'll do what we can for him. Just don't try to hurt Merry again!"

Johnny thanked us and we made anchor while we waited. He brought Yosaku up from their dingy and I sighed. "Nami, go bring me some of the limes from the kitchen, this idiot has scurvy."

She took off and I warned them. "You idiots don't know a thing about the sea do you? Going so long without a proper diet and meal can be deadly on the sea. In this case Scurvy is the cause and an easily treatable one that could've killed him!"

I raised my head while looking at Luffy who clapped his fist into his hand. "Ah! Our next crew member will be a chef then!"

I chuckled. "Sure captain."

Sitting back, I waited and took the limes Nami gave me. After squishing the juices into Yosaku's mouth, I shaved some brine off and caked his teeth with it while telling them. "An old sailors trick. If you want to clean your teeth and prevent mouth diseases, you use a citrus brine to cake your teeth in them. Add to the amount of lime juice I've given him and he should be fine in a couple days."

The idiot tried to get up and introduce himself but I cracked him over the head, knocking him out saying. "You idiots need to learn to take care of yourselves! Exerting you're body while recovering from an illness can cause worse problems."

Johnny gaped at my vicious strike and I shrugged. "He's resting and it's not like he had a brain disease though with his intelligence I have to wonder otherwise."

I turned to Zoro. "Put him on one of the extra hammocks while he recovers."

I turned to Johnny. "Tie your boat to ours."

I headed to the anchor and pulled it up while I heard Johnny mentioning the Baratie to Nami and Luffy. We made sail a couple minutes later and had our newest destination in mind.

I climbed to the crow's nest and looked around before calling out. "Marine ship at six o'clock!"

Everyone stilled before Zoro and Luffy got into fighting stances. Usopp got on the cannon and when they were next to us, the marine Lieutenant Fullbody, who asked who our captain was. Usopp introduced himself but Luffy silenced him and said he was the captain and that we were just starting out.

The marines pulled their ship away and Fullbody gave the order. "Sink them!"

I jumped over to the marine ship and used Soru while taking all their weapons and ammo except the one cannon they managed to fire before I took that too. I even freed the prisoner they had and took the chains, keys and shackles with me along the way. Now they were all defenseless except the pirate I'd freed and left a gun with a single shot in it.

I came to the top of the ship and hopped back over to the Going Merry while using Geppo, one of the six powers along side Soru, Shigan, Tekkai, Kami-e, Rankyaku and if you've mastered all six, Rokugan. I have so it's fairly simple to use.

Geppo allows the users to actually jump off the air itself, allowing them to stay in the air for much longer than usual using a sort of Mario esc supper jump only with ten or less, depending on your proficiency, smaller jumps.

Tekkai hardens the users' muscles to the level of iron, in order to nullify damage taken from attacks. However, it can be broken by strong enough forces.

Shigan is a close-quarter combat technique, in which the user pushes their finger into a certain target at a very high speed, leaving a wound similar to a bullet wound.

It is a very useful technique that can connect rapidly and accurately, which works well with the Rokushiki users' impressive speed and agile techniques. However it's never been used to counter or deflect another powerful attack in any fights because the user could easily break their finger instead of just blocking it with Tekkai.

Shigan's shape is derived from the shape of the finger, hence the hit of Shigan will have more of an impact on Luffy's rubber body (which normally reflects bullets) if it is sharper than the round bullet and resembles more modern bullets like an armor piercing round.

Rankyaku is a powerful projectile technique, in which the users start by kicking at very high speeds and strength, sending out a sharp compressed air blade that can slice objects and greatly damage a human body.

Soru allows the users to move at extremely high speeds in order to avoid attacks, as well as to attack at higher speeds and with greater power. The principle of this move is to kick off the ground at least ten times in the blink of an eye, but the amount of kicks can be lessened with speed and proficiency in this technique.

Kami-e makes the users' body extraordinarily flexible in order to avoid any attacks, float, and bending their body like a piece of paper. It is basically fully relaxing your body's muscles and bending away from impact points to avoid damage.

It's variation, Life Return, allows for someone to utilize the contracting and relaxing muscles to digest food quickly and even compact their muscles to extreme degrees to temporarily give an over all physical boost to the body.

And finally, Rokuogan is the secret and ultimate attack of the Rokushiki style. Only those who have absolute mastery of the other six skills can have access to this seventh skill.

The user places both their fists right in front of the target to focus their physical strength to launch a devastating shock wave in a forward direction. The burst is a reminiscent of that released by an Impact or Reject Dial, capable of bypassing the defenses of a rubber human such as Monkey D. Luffy, who is immune to blunt strikes under normal circumstances, and causes massive internal injuries.

It is very much like the principles of Fishman Karate that I utilize. In essence I can control the water in my surroundings to a limited degree with the best effects being actually in water. It is a sort of vibration based karate form that while has some bases in physics, though it makes no real sense outside the body.

I haven't complained though as I'd gotten my ass handed to me for several years just to learn it and I loved utilizing it in fights. Unfortunately there's no pirates strong enough to use it on here in the East Blue.

I laid back while looking at the whole in the restaurant ship not far away. Sadly we would be cooling out heels here after all thanks to Luffy's blunder. I ignored the marines not far away who were freaking out and helped us dock while Luffy was chewed out by the staff of the restaurant.

When we sat down for a meal, Nami played Sanji, our waiter and now more serious man after seeing me on the crew. I gave him my order while he made eyes at Nami and laid back in the soft booth we'd chosen. "Wake me up when the food gets here and the pervy cook stops playing around."

Zoro nodded and I closed my eyes to rest. I listened to the conversations all over like grandma Shakky taught me and picked up intel from random conversations. Finally after Nami got out of paying, she turned to me and asked. "What all did you get from the marine's ship?"

I didn't even open my eyes. "All their weapons, ammo and supplies as well as five million in berries from the lieutenant's quarters and wallets all together. It wasn't much, but the weapons will sell high when we make port at a decent island with a big trade center. We have enough cannons, balls and gun powder to start and win a small war so I'm thinking we sell what we can at Loguetown and keep the rest until we find a bigger port in the grand line."

She nodded. "So how much-"

I sighed. "Around a seventy million berry in all. Not including the jewels and cash that make up another seventy million berries before our meal here."

The waiter next to us, Patty, heard me and went to tell Sanji to up the prices on our meals. When Sanji came back out with the food and the bill, I looked it over and tossed the original payment for what it really was worth on the table.

I looked at him coldly. "Tell your friend that if he tried to be more subtle with his price gouging I might've paid your new price. For now though, that's what I'm paying and if you're looking for a fight...."

I unleashed a bit of willpower and made him sweat a bit. I let it go and turned to my meal, eating in silence. Luffy came out after Sanji left with the cash and stopped his second round of flirting with Nami. Luffy complained and the others joked about his new profession as a chore boy.

When he wiped snot into Zoro's water, Zoro forced him to drink it while we laughed. Smiling, I stood up and patted Luffy on the shoulder. "Good luck captain. If you're not out of this mess in a few days I'll be taking the crew on our adventures until you're free."

He pouted and I chuckled while I headed to the ship. Nami caught up to me and told me to leave the money in her room since we had such a spacious ship now. I shrugged and agreed while the others returned. I left all the treasure and cash for her to peruse at her leisure and went to my favorite spot in the crows nest for a nap.

That evening during lunch, the pirate I'd freed managed to escape and swim to the restaurant, begging for a meal. Sanji took pity on him when Patty kicked him out. A while later the pirate, Gin, left and came back with his captain Don Krieg.

He ate then threatened the whole restaurant, I chuckled. "You failed at the grand line and you have the balls to threaten people? You're no pirate, you're a coward."

He growled. "What do you know of the grand line boy?"

I chuckled. "I was born there."

Everyone in the restaurant looked at me with opened mouths. I chuckled. "Don't get me wrong, I've not seen but a fraction of it, but I'm prepared and ready to go back to my home waters with my captain and crew, sailing the seas and venturing into the bloodiest storms this world has to offer. You however don't look ready for the very first storm that sea has to offer."

He pointed a gun at me and I smiled. "That's a dangerous toy you're playing with. I'd choose a different option if I were you."

He looked to Zoro and a now serious Luffy before sneering and leaving with his first mate Gin. Zeff, the owner of the Baratie asked from the stairs he was standing on. "What part of the grand line are you from boy?"

I smiled. "Sabaody Archipelago! I grew up there. It's the last place you go to before you go to the second half of the grand line!"

The old one legged pirate smirked. "So it's true then, Sanji, they eat for free. It's rare to see a grand liner in these seas."

I asked him. "How far did you make it old man?"

He smiled before answering me. "Water seven. We ran afoul the shipwrights there and they refused to give us a better ship. We were too arrogant for our own good so we were forced to retreat before our ship could be destroyed by the seas. That's when I ran into this eggplant."

He gestured to Sanji and I nodded. "I remember now, Red Leg Zeff, bounty one hundred and thirty million. You were a rookie or so my grandma said. But you disappeared from the news one day and was never heard from again."

Zeff nodded and left upstairs quietly. Sanji didn't comment and instead went to cook and smoke while thinking it all over. A few hours later Don Krieg and his busted up Galleon showed up. They made a hell of a racket and started making threats until I used Soru and robbed them of their weapons and treasure. The only ones that had weapons left was Pearl, a big guy with shields strapped to himself for some idiotic reason, Gin who had his tonfa, and Krieg who had his armor.

I even took his bomb spear and net so he was only sporting his tricks hidden in his armor. He wasn't too happy seeing that and fired at me when I reappeared on the extended deck of the Baratie. I opened up a portal that looked like a standing water circle. All Krieg's spikes went inside the portal and it closed when he finished.

He yelled seeing we were fine and ordered the crew to put on their gas masks but they found them gone. When he fired his poisonous gas at me, I opened two portals. One to take in the gas bomb and another to release it right behind Krieg.

It hit him in the back and he was hit with his poisonous NH-5 gas. Him and his whole crew was poisoned now. They all coughed and started spewing blood and I shook my head. "What a waste."

Luffy frowned, but nodded. "He's so weak."

I smiled. "Exactly. His tricks though remind me of Usopp. Perhaps his armor would be useful for Usopp after he's dead?"

Luffy shook his head. "No, Usopp can't rely on such things if he wishes to become strong."

I agreed and told Luffy. "You can deal with the rest then. I took all the good stuff they had. I even got a bomb spear out of it."

I gave it to Luffy who tossed it at Krieg. Unfortunately for Krieg, the gas was still around him and highly flammable so when the spear hit and exploded, it took the crew and galleon with it as the whole thing exploded in a massive ball of fire that blew apart the galleon and the pirates.

Only Gin survived as the rest sank since he was blown to the extended deck of the Baratie. Ten minutes later Hawkeye showed up and Johnny as well as Yosaku told us Nami had taken the ship and was leaving towards Conami islands.

Luffy looked to us and told us to leave after her. I sighed as Zoro challenged Dracule Mihawk aka Hawkeye's Mihawk, the world's best swordsman. We stayed long enough to see Zoro lose and Sanji joined us as Luffy yelled his apology to Zeff, but that he'd fulfilled his part of whatever bargain they'd made.

So there we were in three long boats sailing and rowing at high speeds to Conami islands while chasing after Nami. Johnny and Yosaku were in their own while Zoro, Usopp and I were in another while I treated Zoro's wounds. Luffy and Sanji, our newest member, was in the last.

Luffy and Hawkeye had their small talk just before we left and I could tell Hawkeye remembered me as I'd seen him during my stay with Shanks's crew. When we made land, Luffy went to find Nami with the rest and Johnny as well as Yosaku stayed with Zoro while he rested.

I went for my own separate walk and snuck into Arlong park with Soru. I stole all their money, a little over three hundred million berry that they'd taken from all the villages on the Conami islands, and all their weapons, sea charts and maps before walking out. Arlong wasn't here but Hatchen was.

I frowned and went over to him. "Oi, Hatchen! Why are you here in the East Blue?"

He froze up and looked to me. It had been ten years but he could tell who I was and sweat dropped. "D-Damien? Is that you?"

I nodded and he flipped out. He told me what Arlong was doing and I beat him upside the head. "Leave the East Blue now and take your pet Momoo you have swimming around with you or I'll tell Jimbei what you've been up to!"

He flipped out like he'd seen a ghost and jumped into the water, fleeing for his own safety. Soon enough I heard a big ass fight elsewhere and followed the noise, destroying Arlong park as I left with a simple Rankyaku, cutting the building down and destroying the surroundings.

With a burst of Soru, I ran across the island to see the destroyed village as the current arena for the Arlong pirate's defeat. Sanji had taken out Kuroobi and Zoro had beaten Chew which was no contest even with his sniping water bullshit.

Arlong was the last one standing while Luffy was beating his ass left and right. I patched up the crew and Nami asked where I was. I simply told her. "Taking care of Arlong Park and a eight armed octopus Fishman. I sent him packing and destroyed the depressing place after robbing it blind."

Nami nodded slowly and watched me work while Sanji was telling me what I missed. When Luffy finished off Arlong, cracking the ground underneath them, the marines decided to show up and try to all of Nami's money and claim it for themselves. What they found was nothing since she'd already told me where it was when she saw them coming.

The captain of the marines looked like a mouse and while I never bothered to learn his name, I did listen to his screams as I beat him half to death then used Shigan, ending his pathetic life. His officers looked at me while I did so and took a picture of me then Luffy before leaving.

I skipped ahead of them and robbed their ship, taking the protection money Arlong had paid them and everything that wasn't nailed down as taxes. When I came back the people cheered when I gave them the three hundred and eighty million berries as well as some weapons and ammo to defend themselves with Incase it happens again.

We partied for three days before leaving and Nami rejoined us as we disembarked. We now had tangerine and orange trees on the boat in a pseudo garden Nami had Sanji make for her. Johnny and Yosaku had decided to stay and protect the village.
