Chương 31: An Alternative measure

Xander had lunch with Aurora at a private restaurant and when they had finished eating, she had another question for him.

"Why did you threaten to kill my best friend?" she asked, unable to take her mind off it.

The fact that she now knew who he was, didn't mean the memories of his mayhem would be suddenly wiped off.

"Sweetheart, come on! I did that just so you could listen to me. I was afraid you would blow my cover by exposing matters that happened under my roof to her," Xander explained. "I will never think about killing your best friend unless she poses a threat to you or I receive orders from the higher-ups."

Aurora didn't like the sound of that and quickly said, "Xander, Abby has been my friend for fifteen years. She is a popular actress in the entertainment industry. What kind of harm can she pose?"
