"Your Highness," The ministers gave him a stunned look, petrified by the man who was standing right in front of them. They had not found him that menacing when he was sitting on the throne. Now that he was standing right in front of them, they could not help feel the dangerous and furious aura around him. It was too strong to ignore and impossible to avoid. Their King was just short of unleashing his wrath, and they were the reason for it.
"You have that audacity to trick people of their money in the name of law for your personal gain, falsify the amount in the records so that you can trick the crown, and now you are asking me for forgiveness. I sure am impressed." Alastair's voice turned deadly low, showing how livid he was.
"Tell me, Kenneth. How should I punish our ministers here?" He tilted his head to stare at the man who had stood up the moment his King had stood up. "What punishment would be befitting of their malfeasance, Cyrus?"
