In a lavishly adorned room, soft, golden light flooded through large, ornate windows, casting a warm glow across every exquisite detail.
The walls had fancy, dark curtains. A shiny chandelier hung from the ceiling, and its glass bits sparkled.
In the centre of the room was a king-sized bed, adorned with silken sheets.
Plush, velvet throw pillows were scattered across the bed, inviting anyone to sink into its luxurious embrace.
The bed's headboard was intricately carved with elegant designs creating a romantic aura.
In the midst of this lavish setting, a stunning woman stood out. Her doe-like eyes held an alluring charm, framed by a fringe of soft, brown shoulder-length hair.
She wore a daring red dress that barely reached her mid-thigh, the bold hue accentuating her every curve.
The dress clung to her like a second skin, and the low-cut neckline added an air of sultry elegance.
She was locked in an intimate embrace with a man whose presence exuded confidence and charisma.
It was easy to tell who the man was, as his face was known all over the country.
He was Li Chen, a male god actor popularly known for his stage name—Blade Chen.
He was an exceptional talented and attractive man in the entertainment industry.
He was tall and lean, with sharp, chiseled features, he exuded an air of undeniable allure.
His dark, brooding eyes always seemed to hold secrets, and his smirking smile hints at a self-assured confidence that always left women intrigued.
He was known as a cryptic heartbreaker, alluring with a chilling charm.
Women were drawn to his mystery, but he often left them shattered with his fleeting affections, yet his charisma kept them coming back for more.
Just like his stage name Blade Chen, he was dangerous as a drawn blade, every move deliberate and lethal.
His presence often cut through the air like a sharpened edge, leaving no room for doubt whenever he was amidst the crowd.
"Li Chen..." a soft purr sound filled the room.
The stunning woman stood in front of him and smiled, her manicured hands delicately handling his buttons like an expert. "I noticed you have been quiet for a while now. After causing that rumour six months ago, you haven't engaged in something exciting."
Blade stared at her for a while, his eyes void of emotions.
As soon as the stunning woman threw his shirt off him, he held the woman's youthful body in a possessive claim and then pulled down the strap of her red dress.
He didn't seem to be concerned about whatever she was discussing. His gaze was not only void but it was coupled along with a desire.
As he neared the gorgeous woman, he planted a kiss on her chin, then down to her neck which made the woman become immediately breathless but it took her everything to stop him.
She knew he was trying to avoid the topic and then with a bold intent, she traced her fingers on his built chest. "Do not tell me you still have any feelings for her? She destroyed you, remember? Her whole family made you go through a lot."
She paused and then stood on her knees to give him a kiss on the lips, "I thought you said you have no feelings or intentions for her anymore?
Her family made you this way and that is why I am working to pull them down. I will take everything that belongs to her and we get married... and become the richest in this country.
You already—worked too hard but you need to do some more and forget about her. If you keep behaving this way, it would be harder to exact our revenge on her.
You are not the only victim, her mother... when she was alive mocked my mother for being poor. I will make her poor to the extent that...she is homeless and feed on the bin."
It seemed Blade was not as enthusiastic as the stunning woman was, however, he uttered, "Are you jealous she was my first love, Allison?"
"I am not!" Allison fired back, annoyed. "I wonder what you saw in her. She is an ugly and dumb being..."
"You made her ugly, remember?" He said. He still remembered vividly how Allison had payed some random criminals to pour acid on his first love, Jolene when they were still in high school.
And that was because Allison was jealous of her.
Jolene used to be a very gorgeous young woman until that incident. If her family was not well-formed, she would have lost her life to that incident.
She went through plastic surgeries and therapies to regain herself but then, she could not be as gorgeous as she was.
She became really ugly and Blade hated her guts when she recovered.
His hatred came about solely because even after becoming ugly, she still rejected him.
"But I didn't make her dumb!" Allison blurted out before she slowly swayed the strands of her hair blocking her vision. "Do not let that ugly woman to destroy our mood, Li Chen."
The next moment, they began kissing, every moment went intense.
He carried her from the tiled floor and threw her to the bed, an evil smirk displayed when he unzipped his trousers.
"Even though she was my first love...you are very much prettier than she is."
"I am," Allison smiled when her eyes landed on the small creature dangling in front of her.
She could never get used to it.

By now, covered in nothing but sweats and tousled blanket, Blade broke the silence.
"I am going to let her pay," he gritted his teeth and clenched his fist at the same time.
Allison chuckled and then said, "Good now. You are both in the entertainment industry, never let her take even a step ahead from where she is currently in."
He nodded, however he remembered that he joined the entertainment industry because of her.
Jolene had once said that she wished to become an actress.
Her friends back then had told her she was dumb and being an actress was not something easy.
And that there was no point being one since she already had a rich father and would manage his family business in the future but Jolene had told them that she was only going to follow her own dream not her father's.
"I heard she is now married to the CEO of WangZ. He is powerful, and—"
"Her fiancé," Allison corrected. "That is why I want to destroy their relationship."
She turned to him with a smile, "If that CEO likes himself and wants a good image for himself, he will dump her soon enough, trust me."
Blade nodded.
However, the next moment, he drew her closer and then sucked on her lips.
Slowly, they both engaged in another round of foreplay but before they could feed their carnal desires, Allison's phone vibrated and she hissed, turning around to check.
Drawing closer to the desk that was beside the bed, she took her phone and picked the call.
"Hello, Danielle."
"There is...we have bad news, Allison."
"What is it?"
"I...I have sent you a screenshot. Check, it's..."
Allison immediately hung up the call while Blade sat upright, alarmed. "Is there anything wrong?"
"I need to check something."
Allison unlocked her phone and went straight to the notification. However, her eyes widened when they landed on the screen.
Blade Chen leaned closer, curiously and when he saw it, he only looked confused. Especially on seeing that the poster was Seraphina Xu, his colleague and his new interest.
