Chương 53: Final Showdown (Part II)
"Woah! When we thought there will be no more surprises but look at that! The disciples of Master Wushu are indeed full of surprises." One of the commentators shared his own thoughts.
The other commentator quickly added, "I guess we will have to see. If who amongst our grand finalists would last and remain as the rightful champion of the {Junior-Ranked} Division."
His fellow commentator agreed with him.
Everyone was surprised and gagged at the sudden attack of Shams towards fellow disciples, Billy and Hawks.
Some of the fans of Shams were saddened and worried about the unexpected attack from their favorite disciple.
'Aren't they supposed to be team mates?'
'Well I guess … it wouldn't be right if they all gang up on one girl.'
'Of course! I guess one of them wants it to be fair fight, huh …'

Conversations were going around while others watch attentively to what was about to go down.
Including Master Wushu and his other disciples.
[-In the Infirmary-]
Astonished like the others, they could not believe Shams would really attack his fellow disciples.
Inside the assigned room where Maya was being taken care of, a huge screen within the room shows what was going on between Shams and the other grand finalists.
Compared to others, Feilong was more annoyed to see Shams hurting his fellow disciples.
It reminded him of what went through between him and Master Narcisso, a former disciple of Master Wushu.
Now, a renowned young master of his own school.
"Master … I want to punish Ryoku after the grand finals match!" Feilong expressed his restrained anger to their master while clenching his fist.
Unlike him, Shay wanted to give Shams a benefit of the doubt.
"Maybe … he just want to fight fair with Narcisso's disciple. He may not like fighting an easy match against someone. Knowing little Ryoku, just maybe … he may not see it as an interesting fight if they just went on the girl, together." Shay gave her own assessment regarding on the current situation.
Some of the disciples, like Reema and Yuri, nodded in agreement with Shay but there were some who were still skeptic and triggered from Shams' actions.
It is greatly frowned upon for someone amongst the disciples to intentionally hurt their fellow disciple. That is why … punishment is given to those who fights amongst each other.
Master Wushu remained calm and well-collected despite of the unexpected turn of events.
"Feilong, do not resort into violence when you have doubts. Clarity and truth cannot be achieved when anger is in the way. Always try to see the positive rather than focus on the negative. It goes the same with the rest of you. The worst thing you can do to someone is lose faith in him." Master Wushu advised his disciples.
Silence followed from the disciples as they listened to their master talk.
On the other hand …
[-In the Participants' Lounge-]
Master Narcisso and his disciples were also surprised from the sudden attack of Shams.
"Disciples of Master Wushu are really some deeply insane ones! Can you believe it? Fighting among themselves is crazy. They should have eliminated Barette as soon as they had the chance." One of Master Narcisso's disciples criticized the disciples of Master Wushu.
Another disciple of Master Narcisso agreed with him.
"Yeah! Definitely, Barette must take advantage of this situation and eliminate someone from. That will increase her chance."
Others smiled and agreed with the comments of their fellow disciples.
But their master was contemplating on the scene they were witnessing.
Finally, he shared his own assessment as well.
"If Barette attacks, she will be the first one eliminated." Master Narcisso revealed.
His disciples were all in shock.
"What? Why master? Wouldn't it be better if she capitalize on this situation?" asked by his confused disciple.
He replied instantly, "There are three strong and powerful opponents. Getting in the middle of this three forces will only serve her no good. If she wants to gain the upper hand. She must take the backseat and let them fight first. Her defeat will be set once she puts herself in the middle of those boys."
Somehow his disciples tried to internalize the words given by their master.
Most of them were able to understand the point of view of their master while others remained confused to how Barette will lose if she attacks one of Master Wushu's disciples. Especially those boys are planning to attack each other.

Meanwhile …
The tension between Shams and his fellow disciples were increasing by the second.
[-In the Battle Coliseum-]
Hawks was greatly upset to see his tamed beast hurt and unconscious.
Thor, the rare tamed wolf of Hawks, used its entire body as a shield for Hawks.
Receiving the full damage of the powerful energy blast from Shams.
Between Billy and Hawks, Billy has a stronger defensive skill compared to Hawks.
His offensive skills and abilities may have earned him some reputation amongst the disciples but his defensive skills were below average.
Thus, making him vulnerable to surprise attacks.
Relying too much with his offensive skills and techniques may have caused him some weaknesses such as weak defensive strategy and weak defense to surprise attacks.
While he prepares for an attack against Shams.
Billy quickly thought of his next move.
Hearing Shams justify his actions through making it a more interesting final showdown reminded him of their own words to each other during one of their sparring matches back in the school.
'Remember, it is only a lazy thing to do … taking the easy way out or the easy win. Only cowards and the weak succumb to their emotions. When given the situation, I will always take the route which will make me and prove to everyone … that I am the strongest and the most powerful amongst you!' Shams declared to the rest.
Opposing words and reactions were thrown at Shams.
Hence, Billy immediately decided to go all-out with his next attack.
Since he extended the floor of the arena to catch his landing.
His own ki energy has been spread 10 meters from his position towards in front of him.
Now, he could easily summon another powerful technique of his combined with a close combat attack.
As he was about to launch his attack.
Barette at the same time decided to take advantage of the situation and remove Hawks in the picture. Since she thought that amongst the three, Hawks would be the easiest to eliminate.
When she used her powerful combination attack of,

"Psionic Blade!" Barette exclaimed.
{_Psionic Blade_}, an ability that can penetrate through the spiritual core of its target. A red energy forms around the hand of the cultivator and turns into a thick sharp blade.
Whether the blade hits which part of the body of the target. It will cause tremendous damage to its target.
Unfortunately for Barette, Hawks has made his own resolve at that point.
"Beast Form!" Hawks uttered while holding his tamed beast.
A bright light surrounded him.
Causing for Billy and Shams to look at his direction.
