As soon as Zeus finished speaking, a sense of danger washed over him. Reacting swiftly, he instinctively raised his hand, conjuring a powerful barrier without even looking behind him.
The barrier clashed with a formidable arc of sword aura, effectively stopping it in its tracks. Although the barrier sustained only a few cracks from the impact, Zeus was still surprised by the strength of the attack.
Realising that the situation was more complicated than he had initially thought, he released Gaia's wrists and turned to face the new arrival with a lazy glance.
