Chương 4: Chapter 4: The note
☆Y/n's pov☆
I was deep in sleep exhausted from yesterday's work when.. its goes off.. my newly bought sleep enemy, my alarm clock ..ruining and waking me up at the best part just like the last one used to, tch.
I lay there on my bed not wanting to get up but the constant ringing urged me to roll over and get up, standing up off my bed i hit the snooze button rubbing my eyes while i walk to my bathroom for a morning shower, i open the door step inside and start the water, i start getting undressed all while i'm still in a sleepy daze.
i step under the water showering and waking myself up from what little sleep was left in me, After a bit i step out wrapped in a towel making my way to the closet, i pass my bed and get to the closet stopping in front of it and choosing what to wear. I grab a black tank top and white cargo pants, changing into them and getting ready to head out for work..
I get changed and go to my kitchen, making a quick basic but passable breakfast.. i scoff it down, after i'm done eating like a madwoman i ignore the dishes because quote 'it's future me's problem now' and head back to my room pushing open the door as i make my way to my night stand.. i see a sticky note..
"sticky note cool.. wait.. sticky note?
why is it there? did i leave it there? is it a reminder to do something?.. better not be a fucking 'do the dishes' reminder, i walk over to my nightstand and take the sticky note off of my phone. Almost ready for it to say 'do your chores bitch' but..
What i read stops my breath dead in it's tracks.. my blood runs cold and a shiver runs down my spine.. "You should remember to lock your doors little one, who knows what type of monster could sneak in.. while you sleep soundly"
s-someone.. someone was in.. in m-my house.. they broke in.. m-my house last night.. and left t-this a .. note
I stutter, my body shaking with fear as i think of someone watching me in my sleep.. I try not to start sobbing as i report this to the cop that was sent after i called 911, The cop checked my house, the door, windows. Any signs that may indicate that someone broke in but nothing was found.
Even the door was locked which made me question my sanity .. did i write it?.. no no i didn't, someone was here.. someone was in my house but after finding no clues what so ever the cop left, He said they'd keep an eye out though.. sure i totallyy believe that but ..is there even anything i can actually do? except ball my eyes out at my own stupidity.. ofc..
[A.N]: hello loves, To whoever's reading this, I hope your well, hydrated and in good health.. I just wanted to say that this chp might be a bit rushed because i'm traveling while writing this, so i'm sorry if it seems rushed cause ... it is.. anyways enjoy have a good dayy<3
