Both Aoife and Izzy could currently be seen in the treetops, their attention entirely honed in on one area. In the location both of their eyes were locked on, an incredibly large boar could be seen. The boar was a whopping 250 pounds, being the largest boar both Izzy and Aoife had ever seen.
The boar could currently be seen slowly trotting in their direction, moving at a rather leisure pace.
The second the boar was below them, the pair struck; Izzy reacted by flinging her spear downwards, lodging it about 3 inches into the back of the boar. Not to be outdone, Aoife hopped down from the tree, using his falling momentum to stab into the boars brain while it was stunned from Izzy's sudden attack.
His spear easily piercing the skull of the boar, Aoife instantly killed it. Raising the spear from the boar's head, Aoife couldn't help but let out a click of his tongue. The spear had broken, this was something Aoife had long expected to occur, but for it to happen so quickly still caused some annoyance to build up within him.
Tossing the now useless spear to the ground, Aoife grabbed one end of the makeshift stretcher he had made in preparation for this exact scenario. Grabbing the other end, Izzy and Aoife both lifted, raising the boar into the air. Letting out grunts of exertion, the pair began to slowly carry the pig back to their clearing.
It took them around twenty-five minutes to reach the clearing, a distance they had previously managed to navigate in around seven minutes.
Putting the pig down, Aoife let out a tired sigh, while Izzy still looked energetic, as if she could do this process a couple more times. (Remember, this is the world of TDI. Some of the characters in the show perform feats that can only be described as superhuman, Izzy definitely being one of them.)
Starting a fire, Aoife grabbed the grill grate he had managed to stea-borrow from the kitchen. Making sure to properly gut the boar as well as cutting off any fur, Aoife began the slow process of turning it into an edible meal.
Aoife put the fur and skull of the animal to the side, deciding he'd make an outfit out of it.
This was what Aoife had been looking for all along, the freedom to do whatever he wanted, the ability to use his skills to the fullest, to go crazy with no consequences.
Aoife thought to himself, his figure practically vibrating in barely restrained excitement.
~~6 Days Later, Early Morning~~
Chris looked at the cameras, his expression a weird one, something caught between both excitement and fear. "The audience will love this, let's just hope they don't use these abilities against us." Chris said, getting a nod from Chef, who was currently standing behind him.
On the screen, an image could be seen of two figures who were hovering above a large group of people, that being the Killer Bass.
These two figures were of course, Aoife and Izzy, who both wore manic expressions on their face. Giving one another a look, the pair seemed to nod in unison, deciding now would be the best time to put their plan in motion.
The cameras panned out, focusing instead on the forest around them. Within the forest, the cameras would focus on seemingly inconspicuous areas. Looking closer, one would discover that each area had a nearly completely hidden trap, the scary part was that these areas seemed to completely surround the Killer Bass.
Focusing back in on the duo, one could see Izzy putting on a bear costume.
Chris wondered just where she could've possibly gotten it from. Before he shook his head, eyes showing a hint of fear, deciding it'd probably be better not to know. Still, his eyes shone in excitement, thinking to himself, 'This'll be killer for the ratings!'
Focusing back on the camera, it seemed to zoom in on the figure of Aoife, Izzy no longer in sight of the group.
Aoife could currently be seen with a pack of squirrels surrounding him, as he seemingly directed them on where to go and what to do. He spread the nearly two-hundred squirrels out, placing them all in locations with traps around them.
~~Duncan's POV~~
Resting in the camp, Duncan couldn't help but feel uneasy, spending time in Juvy led to him gaining sharper senses for this kind of thing. Still, looking around, he couldn't see anything out of the ordinary.
It was at this moment that he and the rest of his team heard it; the loud thumping paws of an animal, something that had to be massive.
Their eyes all turned in the direction of the sound in unison, eyes filling with dread.
The thumping got closer and closer, reaching the edge of their encampment. Their eyes stayed locked on the area the noise originated from, figures frozen in fear.
For what felt like a solid minute, everything stayed frozen, before finally, out from that area came a roar, one that caused the eyes of everyone to widen.
'A bear!' Duncan thought, his figure finally seeming to unfreeze as he caught sight of the massive beast, his figure hopping from its position, rushing in a seemingly random direction in the woods.
It seems he wasn't the first one to react however, as in front of him he could see both Tyler and Geoff, sprinting as if death was behind them, as it very well could be.
Suddenly, the figure of Tyler before him seemed to trip, something caught around his foot. Smashing into the ground, he was instantly knocked unconscious.
Still, upon reaching his figure, both Duncan and Geoff avoided him, not even thinking of helping him from his predicament.
It was at this time Duncan could hear a voice behind him calling out, "Run!" The voice was female, a voice he recognized as Bridgette's.
Sneering, Duncan couldn't help but think to himself, 'Hmph, those idiots still haven't left. Sucks for them, but it should make it easier for me to escape.
It was at this point that the figure of Geoff that was in front of him was seemingly yanked up in a tree, a rope tied around his foot.
It was at this point Duncan noticed that something was strange, his eyes narrowing. 'There's no way that both Geoff and Tyler manage to get stuck, especially with the way that Geoff seemingly got launched up that tree. This smells of a sabotage!'
Eyes now focusing on the forest, Duncan began to watch the ground that he ran on. Upon looking down, Duncan noticed the seemingly well hidden traps on the ground, his eyes narrowing as a smirk of self-assurance appeared on his face.
Noticing as he nearly stepped on a trap, Duncan gave a smirk as his foot moved to the side, attempting to side-step the trap.
It was at this point that something slammed into the side of his foot, seemingly coming flying from a random direction. Eyes widening, Duncan watched on helplessly as his foot landed on the trap.
This was the last thought he had, before darkness encompassed him.
~~Back To Chris' POV~~
Chris winced, watching as the trap Duncan stepped on seemingly raised from the other side, slamming into his forehead, causing him to lose consciousness.
He couldn't help but feel that those two were too ruthless, having the squirrels knock those who didn't fall into traps into them by throwing acorns.
After that, the cameras focused in on Bridgette, who was currently behind them. As she ran by, she didn't forget to grab Tyler, placing him on her back. There was no way she could leave his unconscious figure there, where he'd most likely be eaten by the bear.
As she continued on, her pace now far more slowed, she reached out to untie the knot that was currently holding Geoff up by his foot.
Yet, before she could, something came flying, smacking her in the face. This left her disoriented, causing her to take a step back. Coincidentally, where her foot had landed, there was a trap. She was hoisted far up into a tree, string tightly tying her to its trunk.
Chris watched as the rest of the Killer Bass were systematically demolished, the only one who managed to survive being Eva, and only because she wasn't among their group. Due to her not being able to control her anger, she had long since been kicked from the group, being forced to survive on her own.
~~Aoife POV~~
Noticing the absence of a member of the Killer Bass, Aoife could only shake his head, understanding that eliminating their whole team may be impossible.
This was confirmed by the distinct lack of Chris' voice appearing, declaring the challenge as over. Shaking his head, Aoife focused his attention back on the figure in front of him, his expression morphing into one of pity as well as holding a hint of respect.
Speaking up, Aoife asked Bridgette a question, his tone one of burning curiosity, as if trying to find the answer to a question he'd been searching for. "So, why'd you attempt to save your teammates when you thought a bear was behind you, knowing that it would slow you down?"
Giving her an expectant look, Aoife waited for her response. Giving him a look, Bridgette responded as if the answer were obvious, "Because how could I let someone die if I knew that I could save them, anyone would do that, right?" Her tone starting with confidence, but ending sounding unsure as she glanced at her team.
She had been profoundly disappointed in their seeming willingness to allow their own team to suffer to increase their own chances of survival.
Aoife gave her a look, one that seemed to say, 'you should already know the answer to that, shouldn't you?'
He finally responded, seeming to avoid the question entirely, not wishing to shatter her naive belief, "I can cut you down now as long as you forfeit, it seems a shame to leave you hanging here. While the other's were willing to abandon one another, you chose to help them, that's something I can respect."
Bridgette sighed, before nodding her head in acquiescence, opening her mouth to announce her surrender.
Giving a nod, Aoife reached out, cutting the rope from around her figure, catching her in his arms before she fell from the top of the tree.

A/N: I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Next chapter, I plan for something interesting, so wait and see!
I've decided that I will make this a small harem, though I think I'll only add girls that I feel fit with the MC. As you can see, I'm planning to add Bridgette, which wasn't something I had planned, but just seemed to naturally flow as I wrote the story.
Oh yeah! Shoutout to Glitch_8959, kingblade, and cantimplora, for being my top three fans.
