The employees' tone was accusatory, and the details were specific, painting a troubling picture of Miss Anderson's behavior.
James watched Miss Anderson closely as the recording played. Her face reddened, and she started fidgeting with her fingers.
"That's not me," she said defensively. "People talk all the time. Just because someone says something doesn't mean it's true."
Crystal stopped the recording and looked at James.
"The recording isn't just hearsay. I have several instances where the conversations match. I've also noted down the times and dates. If we investigate, we should be able to trace back to who was talking and verify the content."
James considered Crystal's words carefully. "Miss Anderson, do you have anything to say in your defense? This evidence seems quite damning, and your previous behavior doesn't help your case."
