Chương 49: Whoops

The group followed Momo to the beach. The sand was illuminated by the blazing sun and the water threatened to consume all that entered it.

Many towels were laid down on the sand and umbrellas loomed over chairs for those that weren't looking for a tan.

Finally, the beach was filled with stalls offering food and beverages for a high price.

Momo dragged everyone to a secluded part of the beach. Nobody else was there to annoy them. It was just them and the ocean. Of course, they could still hear the chatter of everyone past the rocks that secluded them.

"Where did you find somewhere like this?" Himiko asked while running around in joy.

"My dad knows all the best spots for all tourist destinations." Momo bragged.

"I'm glad you brought us here." Inko smiled.

"Of course!" She puffed her chest out.

The fact that they were in a secluded part of the beach didn't mean that it was completely empty, however, as occasionally, a couple of people will swim away from the main pack and see the family having fun. They'd usually swim away and join the main pack again to give them their space.

Therefore, the girls hopped in the ocean. They swam out as far as they could until Diluc had to go and save them. They'd play volleyball with what little space they had on land. And lastly, they'd blast water all over each other, smiling and laughing all the while.

They were all having fun, they dragged Diluc into as much as they could.

That was, until the fire nation attacked.

… Or the annoying bastards that saw a bunch of half-naked wet women and decided that they were going to try and pick them up.

A group of guys emerged from the rocks which separated this area from the main area. There were about 6 or so of them.

They all had traditional fuckboy haircut, with their hair gelled back. They also had sunglasses covering their eyes and a large grin on their face.

'Why do I always get so unlucky?' Diluc asked himself.

"*Whistle* What do we have here?" Bastard 1 spoke.

"From what I can tell, a couple of chicks looking for a good time." Bastard 2 spoke.

It was truly a mystery how they gained so much confidence saying such stupid shit.

Two of them even sent eyes towards Momo and Himiko, who were still underaged.

"Don't make me have to stand up, please." Diluc begged the fuckboys.

"What's the problem? Legs failing you?" One of them spoke while summoning a toxic cloud on his hands. It was obvious he was trying to intimidate the 15-year-old.

Another fuckboy grabbed Mitsuki's wrist while summoning an icicle. What a weak quirk.

*Clap*

Mitsuki switched places with Izuku who kicked the bastard in the balls as soon as he appeared. It seems like he's finally got some confidence.

The fuckboy who's balls just got crushed threw a punch at Izuku who clapped again and switched places with another. They broke-balls guy clobbered the other that just got teleported there.

Unfortunately, Izuku was then punched in the back of the head. One of their quirks was better time perception, therefore, he recovered from his shock long before everyone else and punched Izuku.

Now on the ground, Izuku considered using One-for-all, but refrained, knowing it'd kill the 6 men.

"Now, let's get down to business." One of them spoke, touching Mitsuki's hand. Her eyes became slightly hazy and her legs began to shake of weakness.

The guy then decided to grope one of her breasts.

Unfortunately for him, his hand all of a sudden got replaced by a stream of blood.

"AHHHH!" His hand was now a stump and red liquids covered the sand.

"He probably had a mind-altering quirk." Diluc commented while examining Mitsuki's eyes.

"MY HAND!" He continued to scream.

"Did you really think there wouldn't be any consequences for annoying me?" Diluc looked the man in the eyes. To the fuckboy, he looked like Satan himself as fire separated from Diluc's body.

"Cover their eyes." He spoke. He wasn't talking about the annoyances, no he was talking about Mitsuki, Inko and Izuku. As commanded, Kath, Yuria and Anri covered their eyes. They probably didn't need to cover Mitsuki's eyes considering the state she was in but they did it to be safe anyway.

All Inko and Izuku heard were the sounds of screams and metal cutting wind. An iron smell filled their noses.

After five minutes or so, one shouted.

"You bastard! Take this! Hiyah!" A fuckboy spoke while posing. He was missing a leg and arm, but he posed regardless.

"hehEhEHEHEH! I WIN!" The man spoke while fainting. Diluc could only assume that he activated a quirk and approached the soon to be corpse.

That was when he felt an itch on the back of his neck, looking behind him, he saw the tide rapidly lower and waves becoming progressively taller. However, in the distance, Diluc could see one skyscraper level wave.

"How immature. Deciding to kill us all after losing." He sighed.

Inko, Izuku and the newly awakened Mitsuki heard this and tried to struggle out of the Dark Souls girl's grasps.

Himiko loved the blood and Momo was unnerved but still believed that her boyfriend was in the right.

He quickly burnt the bodies and nodded at the Dark Souls girls. Inko, Izuku and Mitsuki could finally see the outside world. The corpses of the fuckboys had long been reduced to ash. They all simultaneously looked out to the horizon to see a massive wave approaching.

A tsunami had formed.

Without worrying about what happened to the bastards, Izuku clapped as many times as he could, switching the position of items with people on the beach. He got them all indoors as soon as he could.

No one was ever told about the protocol for surviving a tsunami considering how rare they are to form; therefore, it wasn't even certain if being indoors was the safest.

Regardless, everyone began to panic and run all over the place. Unfortunately, while the spot that Diluc's family occupied was very private, it also had little to no cover from a tsunami. They could only stand and panic.

Diluc sighed again.

He got down in a crouching position and summoned Gael's Greatsword. The weapon provided a boost to your jumping capabilities.

Ge began buffing the weapon. He discovered that the only limit to buffing his weapons was the categories, he could only use one from each branch of magic.

"Crystal Magic Weapon. Power Within. Sacred Oath. Charcoal Pine Bundle." Diluc spoke. His weapons took on many different colors until it resided at pure black with black flames arising from it.

Diluc exhaled and inhaled deeply before bracing himself for a jump.

Kath, Yuria and Anri smiled in anticipation while no one else knew what he was doing.

Diluc's left the eyes of everyone on shore as he barreled towards the wave that would most likely destroy Hawaii.

He instantly appeared at the peak of the wave and struck down with Gael's Greatsword added with his pull power. To add insult to injury, he poured 80% of his mana as well as some of his 'First Flame' cells into the mana to add to the flaming effect.

Instantly, the water split like Moses to the red sea. It appeared as if a reverse Mount Everest appeared in the middle of the ocean and was suddenly teleported out. The sea floor had also been completely split and revealed many million earth critters.

The water quickly replaced what was lost, however, by the time that had happened the Tsunami had already disappeared like a fragment of the imagination.

The water returned to normal tides in moments and everyone back on shore was shocked to see the tsunami disappear like nothing.

"That must be the work of a hero!" The citizens cheered.

Diluc on the other hand floated back to shore on his back. Izuku wasn't present because he had tried to save as many as possible and left while everyone else hugged Diluc and thanked him.

"I'm so proud of you!" Inko shouted, completely forgetting about his many murders just a few minutes ago.

"Thank you." Mitsuki prostrated herself. Not only had he saved her from being raped, he also saved her from nature's, 'Fuck You!'.

"I need some sleep." Diluc spoke while summoning Chastiefol.
