Chương 28: It's Not Real

Lucian returned the next morning just as he had promised, only this time he had come alone. Simon was awake, and had been surprised to see Lucian walk in. He had expected the prince, but certainly not this early. He never woke up this early before, not since Simon started working for him at least. So seeing him up and already freshened up so early was a surprise to Simon.

"Are you leaving for somewhere soon? What's the event?" Simon inquired as Lucian gradually closed in on him.

Lucian smiled, realizing the reason why Simon was so curious. "No, I just couldn't sleep.." he replied right before settling beside Simon. "..I was thinking about you."
