He agreed to this, and I couldn't believe it.

I know for a fact that Beau Foxly doesn't like me, and I don't think he ever will, but the fact that this is about his son just tells me how much Colin means to him.

"He is coming here?'' Ashina asks with excitement.

I nod.

Her smile widens. "His dads allowed him?"

I nod again, even though this back and forth is already getting on my nerves. Colin is supposed to show up with his father, Beau. That was the only way they agreed to bring him here.

I don't mind inviting the Alpha of the Moonlight Pack. There was a time when I felt intimidated by the man, but not anymore. Now all I want to do is impress him.

Get him to like me.

I am in love with his son, and his father's approval suddenly becomes important to me.

"When are they coming?" Her eyes shine as she asks me eagerly. Her curiosity is sickening to me because I am almost certain she doesn't even have his best interest at heart.
