"She can't stay here,'' I breathe into the phone.
Beau Foxly is the only person on earth that can convince me to keep Tala in my home after what happened last night and even with him, I will not give in.
"She needs help.''
I sigh, slowly running my fingers through my hair. "I can't help someone that won't help themselves."
"What happened. Do you want to talk about it? Maybe we can do things differently since she is making it so difficult."
I can't tell him what happened last night because that would just make him angry, and I can't even bring myself to say those words out loud.
I fucking lost control and I don't ever want to be put in that position. Having Tala here would just remind me of what I did--or rather what we did last night.
"There is nothing to talk about. She isn't taking things seriously and I have a pack to take care of."
