In each cave, there was something resembling a stone bed, and on most of these, a Shigui lay motionless, except for a few that were empty.
It was well known that the Shigui refining process of the Ikawa Family was very special and malevolent.
The process required a multitude of drugs, special secret techniques, and some modern medical procedures. The various medical equipment in the hall's center, along with large vessels filled with culture fluid, were all prepared for this purpose.
The most horrifying aspect was that the Ikawa Family used living people to refine their Shigui...
The Shigui on these stone beds, for the most part, could no longer be considered human; they had been transformed into walking corpses through successful refining.
But some were still in the process of being refined and occasionally emitted painful moans, yet they lay there, unable to move. This sight was utterly horrifying and chilling to the bone.
