Chương 63: Ragna VS Terbius (3)

When Terbius had got up from his kneeling position which had provided a cave-like shelter for the duke and his sons, the gruesome scene of their half-ruined residence and the roaring fire that burnt around them ever so dazzlingly finally entered their eyes.

The cries that soon accumulated from one voice to a dozen grew louder, staining the air with a heart-wrenching despair and wet the scorched ground with tears of desolation and blood of the victims.

It would've been better if everything had ended in that horrifying lightning strike, unfortunately, some remained alive, engulfed in a never-ending agony brought by the Chaos Flame.

It burnt their bodies slowly yet painfully as if the flame had its own consciousness and was deliberately tormenting them. It kept them alive while peeling layers of their skins one at a time from the epidermis down to their skinny white bones.
