Back to the area near the mansion Samel had been inhabiting, which was currently being guarded by the city guards per the order of their captain, Lucas.

Just a little over a kilometer away from the place where Lucas and Samel had fought, in the direction where Lucas had felt someone's gaze, a man was hiding behind the arched roofs.

He was wearing gray, ivory-colored robes while his white hair flowed from his sides as he was bathed in cold sweat, hiding from Lucas, who had suddenly gazed in his direction.

"Damn! I almost got caught..." muttered the man while heaving a deep breath in relief.

"He is stronger than I had initially anticipated" blurted the man as he seemed to be in deep thought about his analysis.

After shaking his head a few minutes later, the man let his adrift thoughts finish as he finally commented, "Well, it matters not. My work here is finished."
