"Stop it," Lily said. She wanted to pretend that she was serious as Zhou Jingren stood in front of him. It did not work. Not long after, Lily burst into a puddle of laughter. Her embarrassment vanished as if it was never there in the first place. "Alright… maybe cooking and I wasn't meant to be."

"Let's hire someone." Zhou Jingren's hands caressed her cheeks. He then lifted her chin, meeting her eyes. "Remember, the Chef from the orphanage?" he asked. He didn't wait for Lily's answer as he leaned down to kiss her.
