Just as I was making my way back to the coffee maker. The door flies open and in comes Nora with blood coated hand on their right shoulder leaning on the door frame for balance.
Hawks spit out his drink as Nora made their way to the counter.
"I forget my speed…" Nora said to herself as they caught herself on the counter.
I just look at them say "Again?" and then grab bandages from under the counter.
"Oh…this? This is nothing I'm fine" Nora says as she stands up straight.
"Ok miss I got shot and think nothing of it," I say as I jump over the counter bandages in hand. Then start to clean the wound with rubbing alcohol. Only to hear the heroes freaking the **** out and screaming then calmed the screaming down.
"What do you mean again!?" the chicken nugget man asked with some strain in his words.
"Yes again you idiot," I say with a bit of sass.
"Cora…what did we talk about sass? Plus, the heroes don't know." Nora says as she rubs her shoulder.
"THE **** ARE YOU TWO TALKING ABOUT!!!" Enji yells out in annoyance at not knowing what's going on most likely.
"Die *****," I say with a flat voice as I rapped bandages on Nora's gunshot wound. Nora pulled away "You stay still or were going to the hospital."
I continued rapping the wound as Nora said, "Nope. I don't wanna." And I just Ignored what she said and continued rapping the wound.
The door was flung open again and in came Tommy with an annoyed look on his face "Why the **** are you guys screaming it's 4:30 in the ******* mourning and I'm trying to sleep" he says then leaves again.
Nora looked at me and then said, "Did I come at the wrong time?" as she lay down on the cafe's cold floor.
"No, you did not," I say then start to open the door then grab the heroes and shove them out. "Before you complain Enji was already banned!" I shout.
"Okay, now what the **** happened," I say quickly.
"Umm…I'm not sure. Everything is kind of a blur." She responded with thought-filled eyes.
"Okay tell me what happened when we get home my shift ends about now anyway," I say as I pick Nora up on my back and start to the door.
Let's skip to when we made it to the apartment.
We made it to the apartment building Nora still on my back. Opening the door to the lobby was a struggle with the extra weight. I got a weird stare from the receptionist, but I ignored it and walked into the elevator. After getting into the elevator, I pressed the number ten. The old broken-down elevator is taking its time going up.
"Ugh this is so annoying why does it take so long" I grumble in annoyance.
"Shut up you dumb*** I have a headache" Nora growled from on my back.
